Jessie James looked good last game so really not worried abt Green. Like to get his money back if we were sold a broken Tight end

 

Unreal that we spent that kind of money on a dude that couldn't even get to the field. Even if we DO get it back it is still ridiculous.

 

All I can say is ...we been juked. I had such high hopes for Green. I thought we got a steal but it turned out ..we were had. Oh well...its time for Jesse "bang bang" James

 

i'm not giving up on grimble yet either. he has some of that down the seam ability too. he did it quite well at USC and we saw a small sample of it against the saints matched up on a LB. he's capable of it if the rest of the game starts coming together for him too. i think we will be OK in time at this position.

We've got him for 4 years... If he only misses 6 games, it's not a big deal. It's football. Guys miss games hurt. If he's out the entire year then we have a little bit of a bigger problem.

 

Yesterday Green was placed on the PUP list for at least the early part of the season.........

 

So is his head better and this is all just for his ankle? My thing is that if he knew he had some concussion issues and signed anyway then that is really annoying.

 

The issue of it all really has been the communication aspect of the situation. Green and Tomlin states it is his ankle... others say there are concussion symptoms.


Either way.. for his sake, I hope he is ready by the end of his PUP deadline or there is seriously something amiss.

 

They keep saying there isn't anything in his head and it's all down below.

 

Do we know if he was actually in the league's concussion protocol (or wth it's called)? I think Green could be a monster here and I was really excited about the signing. If this is just an ankle thing that's fine. Let him get to 100% and play the last 10 weeks and beyond. If they are trying to fix his head I'll be really pissed about this entire mess.

 

Is there a Duce Staley jersey laying around that Green can wear?

 

So far Green is the 2016 James Harrison Participation Trophy Award Winner.

 

Like stated above... Things happen and communication is not always front and center these days. If he heals up and gets some work in and looks good, win for us. If this is an introduction for a recipe for disaster scenario, well that sucks.

Here's to hoping a month or so into the season, that d coordinators get themselves another wrinkle to headache themselves over
