I like to think that somewhere hidden away on the internet there's a messageboard like this one, just for NFL execs. And they're all talking about what might happen to the season if Goodell gets injured and they have to bring in Landry Jones instead.

Reread the letter that the League sent to the players. That is exactly what they could do.

The NFL threatens to suspend the players, even if they go through with the interrogation, if the League isn't satisfied with the responses.
And the letter says the suspension would be indefinite, until the Commissioner decides to end it. No criteria given.

 

Landry would throw the book at the NFLPA.

NFLPA would take it to the house for a pick 6.

 

What is Goodell thinking? Has he not seen that movie yet?!?

 

There are not enough words to describe how much I wish that would happen!

 

I just hope we don't have the same outcome as Bell did. He promised he would play in game one.
