Preseason Game vs Eagles

I know it's sarcasm but Steelers play like **** in the preseason. Look at the previous preseasons, they look dreadful. Only thing that derails this team are 3 things...

1. Injuries
2. losing to bad teams
3. pot

 

no heath miller either

 

I know people like to say it's preseason. I am guilty of this myself BUT other teams still win. I mean someone has to win these games. Why not the Steelers?

I'm not suggesting not talking about stuff. I just don't feel like getting all angry about stuff I can't control.

If I don't like something at work I can go to the boss and try and have something done. If I don't like something the Steelers are doing there's nothing I can do to change it.

 

Of you could though Glenn you would right? And if you do change something could you restore the lead blocking fullback to football glory it's just a small change.

Fullback is #1 priority and Steely McBeam is gone.

 

Even though they accumulated 48 sacks, which looks good on the stat sheet, but did not generate enough PRESSURE when needed. James Harrison got 3 sacks during garage time during a Colts game. Dupree hit the rookie wall and Jarvis Jones....well was Jarvis Jones.

It seems like people take preseason as an afterthought. This team has shown on several occasions that they start slowly when they are coming out the gate. And so far after two games.....well, just say I hope the starters show more in the next two games.

 

Is the game over yet? I figured Landry jones was still out there throwing INTs...

You're worried just because they lost 2 preseason games , you want the team to play good but winning and losing don't care. All I care about is making it through the game with no injuries.

Our pass rush was pretty good last year. I think it's only going to get better.

 

Nope not worried. Merely pointing out the obvious. Every other team goes through the same protocol year in and year out and Steelers record is dismal.
