    Offense:

QB- Big Ben, Landry Jones, Veteran Free agent.

Comments: Gradkowski is most likely finished and Dustin showed he isn't anywhere near ready.

RB- DeAngelo Williams, Fitz Toussaint, D. Richardson.

Comments: Bell is suspended until further notice.

    FB- Roosevelt Nix

WR- Brown,Wheaton, Coates, DHB, Eli Rodgers

Comments: Right Now this is set.

    TE- James, Grimble, David Johnson.

Comments: Green on the PUP and fears about his health reported by the Media has allowed DJ to make the 53. This Position needs serious attention next Draft, top 3 rds for sure.

    OT- Harris, Villanueva, Gilbert, Hawkins.
OG/C- Pouncey, Foster, DeCastro, BJ Finney Chris Hubbard

Comments: Cody Wallace is out, Hubbards flexibility and stronger camp gets him in.

    DEFENSE:

DL- Tuitt, Heyward, McCullers, Hargrave, Mathews, LT Walton

Comments: Pretty set, Hargrave will be our ROY and steal of the draft. Walton is showing promise and Mathews was a solid pickup.

    DB's- Burns( CB ) , Cockrell (CB), Gay(CB), Montell Garner(CB), Davis( slot CB/S ), Mitchell(FS), Shamarko Thomas(S), Golden(S), Doran Grant(CB/S), Jordan Dangerfiled(S)

Comments: Golson will make the initial 53 Roster then IR so he can return then Garner will be signed to the 53 to backup Davis in the slot. Dangerfield will now make it for ST reasons and backup S since Ross was injuryed and now released with an injury settlement.

    OLB- Harrison,Moats,Chickillo, Jarvis Jones, Dupree.
ILB- Shazier, Timmons, Vince Williams, Steven Johnson, LJ Fort.

Comments: I just can't see this any other way. Dirty Red & Zumwalt are the closest contenders but not quite good enough right now.

ST- K Boswell, P Jordan Berry & LS Warren.

PS- WR Cobi Hamilton & D. Ayers... LB Jordan Zumwalt & Tyler Matakevich... CB Shabazz Al-Hajj.. RB Cameron Stingly... TE Paul Lang... DT Lavon Hooks... DE C. Lyons... OG Cole Manhart

Comments are welcomed, this is my prediction after the 1st preseason game.

Not sure I see the quality that will dictate 9 offensive linemen.

I would have cut Shabazz in the 3rd quarter for tackling like a 200 pound wimp. I read his draft analysis and that was and still is the knock on him.

I saw shazier and shark miss several tackles each. Davis got a "welcome to the NFL" moment from Boldin. Tackling was definitely an issue VS the Lions.

I have Shabazz on the PS to learn for a year and fix his flaws.

On the OL, how would you do it differently. I don't think Hawkins & Finney are ready to play significant snaps but are too valuable for the future to risk being put on the PS.

Same here..... Hopefully he'll get and stay healthy enough to make a case for himself over the next 3 weeks.

On Shabazz I'm not talking "missing" I'm talking a wimpy " try". If he had totally missed he would have looked better. It's why his draft stock was so low.

The 9 OL comment is coming from a quote from Munchack where he never expects 9 unless there is exceptional talent. Or something to that extent.

With as fragile as Pouncey has shown to be, I can't see Cody Wallace going anywhere.

Fragile? Boy I want to meet the man that can walk away from the shots that have injured Pouncey.

The QB position stands out. Jones is adequate at best.

Vet QB, Vet TE, Vet CB

We haven't had a good backup QB in a while. With the shots Ben takes I wish Colbert would take the position more seriously.

Just when I was starting to live with the spectacular ignorance of Bryant, we get this Green bull****.

Not a fan of Grant or Golson so I'd watch the CB cuts.

I'm going to wait and see how Vaugn does in the next game before I make that claim. The guy was playing with a 3rd string line and receivers running awful routes and dropping catchable balls, and the entire team looked like they were trying to run the clock down and leave rather than play football.

That's not to say he's great - he could have been just as bad, and his throwing didn't look confident (not the passes he's shown in camp, that's for sure). But we need to see a bit more of him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they brought a vet QB in, mind.

Not so sure you'll not see Cody Wallace not make the team, and with Pouncey so injury prone, they would like to keep him around since he played center too all last year. But, I'm a BJ Finney fan boy and would like to see him make the team, but I think it will be another practice squad year for him.

Cody Wallace will make the team. It would be totally asinine to cut him.

why not grant lambert? just curious. i think he's made nice strides from rookie to guy that looks comfortable in his role and now it's being expanded. he was like that at OSU, it took him a year or so and became a pretty reliable player. i think he's a keeper. golson? meh. so fsr behind now.

Grant played well against Detroit but I still have concerns he's nothing more than a fringe roster guy. Obviously, I hope I'm wrong. They've tried him at Safety this week, too, which makes me think they may not view him as a CB, meaning we need another one.

i look at it as he can play safety because he tackles well has the size and speed needed and can play the safety spot with corner ball skills all ++. giving us versatility on the field.

Cody Wallace is a smart mobile OL..... Center..... But stout he is not. He can and does get pushed around by any DL it seems .... Finney is the future.

If pouncey goes down first up is Hubbard then Finney.

Why asinine? Both Finney and Hubbard have looked way better than him in camp. It's not like Wallace is a stud back up. He's just another guy that you rotate out when young guys get to his level or pass him by. I think that time has come.

He came in and served well for a few years. Not knocking the guy, I just don't see a need for him now IMO.

I've never been on the Cody train. He's been serviceable but hardly irreplaceable.

Grant can be like William Gay, not great but knows his role and how the Steelers
    want it played.

Tomlin doesn't live in his fears. But, that goes all out the window when it comes to Pre-season games.

True, but it is preseason, where only bad things (injuries) can happen to players that you know will be ready (Ben). I'd bring in another kicker and play Boswell as often as you play Ben. 3rd game for a half or so.
