Come back from the ledge...

we had nary a starter in last night... That fact alone effects everything. O was basically a 2nd string unit for the most part before the lower levels took over. D was resting some number 1's as well.

FRIGGIN auditioning is all it is. No scheming whatsoever. We already knew the BU QB's aren't exactly noteworthy. We knew CB isn't where we need it to be, but it's no doubt better than it was last year... They'll figure it out.

Nice looks from some. Some beds hitting from others. It's rehearsal, get the ugly out now before kick off. Lots of positives with an empty cupboard last night.

 

I like the ledge. Good view, nobody in front of you.

Meh... I ain`t on a ledge, but I would have liked to have seen better quality from our backups...

They are always one injury away from playing.

I`m feeling better about Landry, but beyond that...

Tomlin`s stated goal was to be a team that`s "tough to beat", specifically saying they don`t wanna have penalties/turnovers, that make it easier for the other team to beat us...

I know it`s pre-season, and they were backups(for the most part), but I would say they failed in that regard,

Esp Villaneuva, who we are all pretty much hoping becomes a starting O-Lineman.


And I REALLY hope Sammie Coates ain`t the next Limas Sweed...

I had high hopes for him...

He hasn`t shown me what I expected, yet...


Jesse James, could have shown me more, too, given that Tomlin is swearing to God, that Ladarious Green is on IR, because of his ankle, not
"Concussion related" headaches, like a lotta media is saying...

It`s one preseason game, with most of our starting offense out, but I still expected better...

Damn sure have a laundry list of "issues" that need fixed to get to #7!!!

It's been 8 months since his ankle surgery, I hope it heals before his contract expires.....
