Anybody at practice Friday night?

I was, not overly impressed with the way practice was handled. I think with
ESPN there, just to many committments? Focus/ intensity was lacking.
Best thing I saw last night was Shamarko Thomas lighting up Toussant and he did big time.
I was watching Cockrell,and Doran Grant, Sean Davis, Artie Burns was held out?. Grant is an interesting player, Cockrell was beaten badly by Coates on WR/db drills. Oh boy lots of work needed by this secondary. Cockrell scares me, here is hoping somebody steps up?

Matecevich won the back on backers drill that Coach T watched over. Jarvis Jones and Chick
did well also.

Chick could be the player? LJ Fort stood out tonight as did Vince Williams. Feeney was held out,
he is smaller than I expected. Sean Davis also is not as big as I expected he would be? Vince Williams
will drill you and knows how to tackle. Big crowd enjoyable evening.

Tomlin's presser said they were looking for quality not so much quantity, we're they learning and building on the previous drills and practices. I can also understand less intension since the focus really is on no injuries. We're they playing more zone or did they get up and press their man?

 

Interesting about Gradkowski.

Nothing against the guy, but I hope Vaughan takes his roster spot this year. I don't think Grad is the back up everyone wants him to be.
