Joey Porter has said that he thinks both JJ and Dupree with BOTH have more than 10 sacks each this year. I personally think we've now found where Le'Veon is getting his stash. So what do you guys think? You guessing over 10 or under 10 each for these guys? I'm saying under for both but I think Dupree gets more than JJ.

Definitely not JJ, they give Harrison too much playing time over JJ. As for Dupree I think he doubles his rookie total and gets to 8.

Dupree could get close. Kid's a player. JJ has a better chance of being benched than getting 10 sacks.

What do you mean that Butler called him out? Like he told him he needs to get his crap together or something?

We have seen the best of Jarvis Jones unfortunately. Under.

On the other hand, Dupree has much upside and I could see 10 from him if not more. Over.

But do you think that we, as a team, improve our overall total from last year?

I think 15 combined is a more realistic goal to hope for

yes. if we stay healthy our additions on defense at every level and the fact they have another year together should increase the numbers.

It's a contract year for Jones. He just might surprise many of the nay sayers. I say he gets 8 in the regular season and 3 in the playoffs. Jones ends up signing with an NFC team next year who runs the 3-4.

Worilds did the same thing before he pre-maturely retired... put up good numbers in his contract year.

Steelers draft another OLB in the 1st round in 2017.

Dupree's godly athleticism and improved technique will allow him to get within striking distance or to the exact amount.

Jarvis.... I just do not see it. Granted, he is more svelte.. but that is not going to do much considering his lack of athleticism.

Next year's EDGE rushing class is shaping up to be exceptional. I would not mind another godly athletic presence alongside Dupree by any means.

If anything, that is what Woodley and Harrison were for quite some time anyway.

It would be nice... especially since I predicted the same for our de's.....I'm saying 12 for Dupree I'll wait until preseason before I make predictions on jj..... I need to actually see him in action

Butz said it is a cut throat league and he likes the fact that Jarvis know he has a lot of pressure on him this year.

The Pittsburgh sports writers have been saying they just aren't seein any spark in him so far in camp, even Tunch and Wolfe, which is rare for them to critique a player. They also said Javrvis, Dupree, and Harrison all dropped 15-20 pounds this offseason, but with Jarvis they don't notice a difference in speed because he was never fast to begin with. So basically he is just as slow with a weaker bullrush.

OLB will be a position of need in 2017, Harrison will retire and Jarvis will be gone most likely.

Dupree should get 10...I'm fairly confident in saying that. JJ has to prove it now. If he ever was going to hit that number, it will be this year. I just don't know if he'll be on the field long enough to get 10. Doesn't he share reps with Harrison? Does that mean Moats is on the other side? I get LOLB and ROLB mixed up all the time.

Under. Steelers ask their LB's to drop into coverage too much.

Tides turning, sack leaders will come from their DE's, Tuitt and Hayward again.

The best chance JJ has of being involved with 10 sacks would be if they moved him to offensive tackle.

Here's my prediction Sean Davis will have more sacks than Jarvis, if he plays the slot with his speed I think Butler will use him in the blitz packages.
