Showing my age here, but when I went to the Billy Goat it was underneath Michigan avenue and Navy pier was still just an old pier.

Well, if a rare trade was available of a shut down corner in his prime for Pouncey...

With his injury history, I'm not sure that Pouncey would garner a big trade nor am I convinced that he is not replaceable.

Not going to happen...the dead money hit is outrageous as indicted by Elvis. And really if they are going for all the marbles wouldn't you want to see a finally healthy Pouncey behind center?

I know I hear what youre saying. But not for depth. Those are just some serious playmakers that I'd happily add to some well stocked positions to either lessen greatly the snaps on our DEs or pretty much overtake Timmons. At the cost of a little oomph on offense. We need more takeaways or more sacks.

Pounceys are one in a million but so is Watt, and maybe more arguable Kuechly, but Kuechly is a stud.

Malcolm Jenkins or Earl Thomas ...I would send Pouncey packing for either one of those 2 guys, I don't think anyone would disagree with that ...

Not being rude, but I am correct. The phrase is:

    No Pepsi. Coke.

You are quoting John Belushi from SNL. He reversed it.

The original phrase is from Billy Sianis the owner of the Billy Goat Tavern. Along with half of Chicago, I frequented his restaurant.

People act like only Pouncey, has had his ankles rolled up on or this injury or that injury happen to him. It's just not so. Mishaps happen like this in all games to players. Pouncey cant hold up to it. Also, it's nice having the legendary centers such as Webster, Dawson but, do we really need to have the highest paid center for our team ? Teams win without mega dollar centers. Why pay a boat load of money for a center when, you should be using that coin on tackles or point makers, ball hawks or sack specialist ? No other team is going to give much for a guy that can't stay on the field. The Steelers have him as their sacred cow. He's not going anywhere.

Please season start so we can stop with the trade Pouncey and Bell talk. Good, bad, or indifferent these guys helped us get to where we are today...grass is always greener and all that stuff!

The guy I was sitting next to at camp yesterday was all for trading Pouncey. I don't know. That's a tough one. He isn't helping us at all being on the sidelines but he is one of the best when healthy. I guess I would like to see what this year brings first.

His contract basically makes him untradeable this season ...His power or lack there of is exactly why he can't stay healthy . I really like him as a player , but not so much as a Center in the AFC North ...

Ok, not JJ Watt, because I believe we are set on the d-line, and that is an unreasonable trade...

But, Is there a cornerback/safety available, that would be worth giving up Pouncey for, considering that Cody filled in for , at an acceptable level?
    I can`t think of one.
Plus, their team would have to believe that Pouncey could play the whole year...

I know the injuries aren`t his fault, but they have happened, all the same...

If there is a true "shut down corner", or dominant safety, that is available, and their team would give him up, even up...
    I would trade Pouncey..

I highly doubt that is a likely scenario...

I`m hoping his knees/ ankles hold up!!!

And we will still have one of the best centers in the league!

    GO STEELERS!!!

Been trying really hard not to engage you on this but no, its really not. Nor is there a lack of power. Everyone gets driven back at times, your are greatly exaggerating the amount of times it happens.

While his salary does make him untradeable, the Steelers wouldn't trade him anyway, they have a much higher opinion of him than you do. Rightfully so.
