Mark Madden tweeted Bell facing suspension

The bigger concern here is the future year-long suspension. Personally, I don't mind 'resting' #26 for the first month, allowing him to heal, keeping him fresh, and letting De'Angelo carry the load but I have major concerns over the future year-long suspension that comes with repeated offenses #martavis.

This will certainly play large into our organization's decision on how much we want to invest in a long-term contract for Le'Veon. Will this give us some nice negotiating leverage or are we just going to go the Santonio route and launch him?

 

They need to just get rid of the test for weed.Who cares if a guy smokes ? They pump these players up with legal dope and have addicted a many a player to a lot more harmful substances ,just leave these guys alone damn....

I'd say the reason he missed the test is because he now knows it's illegal to drive high. I'm guessing he has yet to figure out that it is also illegal to get high and not drive. I'm sure he will come out and say that he thought you couldn't get high only if you planned to drive. Special kind of stupid this one is.

 

One would only hope that he has learned from his past mistakes and is taking his job more seriously now. If it is true then I don't think he comes back after his contract is up. I have no problem with people wanting to smoke weed, but I don't understand how some many guys can't stop smoking while they are making millions of dollars. When they give the game up go hang out with Snoop and smoke all day everyday.

The BIGGEST thing that bothers me about your theory is that it was stated on NFL Network he "MISSED SEVERAL" scheduled test. This is not looking good for the dumbass! Good Riddance!

Yeah that's what I want to know. Did he miss A test or did he miss SEVERAL tests because one is understandable several is he is smoking up and didnt want to be caught.

I read that the other day he tweeted "Selfishness is poison" or something like that. Seems extremely cryptic at this point. Turning his account to private is just another symptom of his not wanting to face the music. What a coward. The guy has no accountability whatsoever. I've lived for 34 years and have never one time smoked pot. Not even once. I've never even touched it. There were times when I was in high school that I had it offered to me and I simply just didn't accept it. It was that simple. It requires more effort to smoke it than to NOT smoke it. Someone should explain the concept of self control to Bell and the rest of the idiots in the NFL that have yet to figure it out. So sick of hearing excuses from idiots. There is only one person that is responsible for my behavior and that is me. There is only one person that is responsible for Bell's behavior and that's him. Some people don't have the character to accept such a simple truth. Sad.

Well a rule that is BS . It has been proven that pain killers are much worse than weed.. Plus the stress of being famous and competing at a top level probably gets to a lot of players. I am sure about 75% of the NFL probably smokes weed , it doesn't hurt them on the field or hurt the money that the NFL makes off of them ...

I just think a lot of players use Weed to self medicate from the pain and the stress and I think they should be given the option to do so ..
