Don't ignore him, he's fun to make fun of. He gives us a lot to work with. :smiley1:
Squeaky toys, once I get tired of them, can be easily disposed of. They have no value.

Although, since you seem to keep responding to my random squeaky toy comments, one can only assume you either relate to the comment or have paranoia. Your call.

Mike Tomlin won the Super Bowl with Bill Cowher's players. Agreed. Cowher went 8-8 with the same players. I am quite thankful Tomlin was able to coach Cowher's mediocre players into Super Bowl champions.

I thought Tomlin showed a whole different demeanor on the sideline last season. More intense and a sense of urgency. I liked it.

The guy hates Tomlin and the Rooney family. What's the point of being a fan of a team if you're going to complain about everything about the team? It doesn't make sense. How the heck can you be a Steelers fan and hate the Rooney family?

I get all the "people are entitled to their opinion "stuff, but at what point when your opinion is factually incorrect are you just spewing lies and hate?

He's either a Troll or just a miserable human being. More than likely just trying to agitate people. Either way I'm not interested in dealing with him any longer.

I think Coach T is one of the ,if not the best Coach in the NFL. I do think he needs more talent as most teams do, but I think he gets a lot from the talent pool that he has...We need to start hitting better on early and late round picks .We seem to have changed our approach some the last couple of drafts I am excited to see what this new product can do ...

I do wish we would be a bit more aggressive during the drafting process , but all in all this Team tries to field a winning product year in and year out.Not a bad thing if you ask me...

Just for clarification, what do you mean by being more aggressive during the drafting process? Thanks.

Moving up or moving down.Drafting talent and moving that talent for the real talent that we need ....Just like I speculated drafting the QB and trading him to other Teams for more draft weight ....We had a great position and could have leveraged that position...Not the first time this has happened we need to be Bold at draft time ,I am not a big fan of holding pat and taking BPA esp.... when lots of talent at positions of need are grouped near our pick...

Those are decisions that Colbert would make. Not sure why you'd criticize Tomlin for that?

Not a knock on Coach really ,I just wished he had a bit more pull in the drafting process ...I was simply suggesting that KC plays it a bit safe and Coach might could change that ...

I am so glad that they don't draft like that. Such a terrible terrible idea, IMO. No need to get cute, just trade positions for draft picks.

    This.
Still not sure why Tomlis is getting trouble for not trading draft picks?
PWP is trapped is some sort of Madden Football alternative reality.

The way you presented it in your other post it came off as a knock on Tomlin.
If you want to debate whether or not his clock management sucks or one of his other faults that's fine. But to complain that he's not aggressive enough in draft day trades ( something I'm sure he has no control over) well that make no sense.

Whoa, this is one contentious thread. My two cents is:

    1. Who could we get if Tomlin quit or was fired? Yup, nobody good.

    2. I think our players like him and play hard for him.

In conclusion, while he is no game plan genius and his gut decisions seem to fail more than not, we probably have an above average head coach.

Loved Da Chin he just looked Steeler Ball! When you really get right into it every fan base in the world wants him as their coach. Everywhere, not just football! LOL

Like Tomlin, he's done the job, the Rooneys like him, & he represents well.

Tomlin usually gets the short end of the stick... then again .. when it comes to greatest coaches ever... Noll gets it worse.

For #PittsburghNation.... what else is new?

On a serious note.. outside of Belichick... who else could have weathered that storm last year? Ron?..... not likely; doubly for McCarthy. Only Arians has shown to do such. His issues still have plenty to do with his quarterbacks getting killed.

His name never gets mentioned and he built the greatest dynasty in league history from scratch.

Hell, Tom Landry . . . TOM LANDRY's name comes up before Noll's does in those conversations and Noll beat him twice in Super Bowls. It's unreal.

For the members saying Noll doesn't get recognition, are you from Pittsburgh? Is that a local thing? Because Im not from there and Ive never found that to be the case.

A lot of Teams used to draft players for leverage, I don't see it as getting cute.If Teams know the Steelers will play it safe and draft BPA then they will not make them offers to get their guy...If the Steelers would take the true BPA then trade them then I like BPA a bit better, but to just get BPA at a position that they need gives them no leverage .....

If you watched the draft Teams started fighting to trade up for Paxton Lynch and I knew before the draft there would be a scramble to get him. The power move would have been to draft him , no telling what kind of trade the Steelers could have got? That's not Madden and that's not cute it's a missed opportunity .
