Of the 60 QBs who threw at least 10 passes in 2015 only 2 had a lower passer rating than Gradkowski's career average.

Ben's not getting injured this year. He promised Ashley that he would throw the ball away more.

Like Blast said Gradkowskis 66% completion rate in the playoffs is exceptional.

Any one who points out the sample size is 3 pass attempts is just nitpicking!

    Hahaha.

There's nothing to infer. You actually state a position.

"Grad had a 66.7 completion percentage in the playoffs, something Vick has never done."

The inly thing I know for sure about RPO's statements is that he thinks Shamarko will be ahead of Sean Davis on the depth chart in September ahahaha.

I could not infer that or make it up.

Shamarko may be ahead of Davis on day one, but I'm guessing only until the learning curve kicks in.

If Shamarko is on the roster.

No wonder you like Dean, you make crap up too. Show me in my whole quote above where I said Grads 66.7 percentage is exceptional? Waiting.

You missed the point entirely, anyone can cherry pick stats to try and bolster their argument.

"This is silly, dont hide behind stats, tape doesn't lie, Vick was awful last year, I've never seen Grad play that poorly and until he does for the Steelers, you can't make the claim he is worse, its baseless."

Dude. Gradkowski has been worse than Vick his entire career. No one should need stats to tell them that.

I watched highlights of the Steelers-Raiders game that Gradkowski won on a BS unnecessary roughness call. Gradkowski threw the ball deep and the announcer said "Wow that throw looked like a punt." Haha. That was Gradkowski's only average year. Everything else has been seriously subpar... and statistics do reflect that.

There is a reason why no team has ever given Gradkowski a chance to start.

Vick was once the highest paid player in the NFL. He was an incredible athlete. He is still a better athlete than 90% of NFL QBs.

Vick could never throw short to intermediate routes! Ever! That is his biggest shortcoming and always has been. Vick doesn't have touch now and never did.

Vick still throws a good deep ball though. I wouldn't be surprised if Bryant being out was one of many factors that undermined Vick's re-signing.

Gradkowski is cheaper, younger, more durable, has been in the system longer and can throw the short stuff that Haley likes.

Vick is far and away the better athlete and playmaker but his biggest drawback is he has always been susceptible to injury and turnovers.

I am certain that 90% of people who are not Steelers fans when asked about Vick vs. Gradkowski would say "Who is Gradkowski?" Haha.

Vick has 100+ highlight videos on Yourube vs. Gradkowski's 1... the game of his life where he lobbed moonballs past Tank Carter and Ryan Mundy.

Apparently that game is burned into Steelers fans minds just like the missed 4 and 1 Vick threw last year.

None of those are really good arguments for Vick playing here over Grad, to be honest.

I'd rather see the back of both of them.

It's not. It's long and irrelevant.

Vick of today is worse than any QB in the league, not just Grad.

That was clearly on display to anyone paying attention last year, including 32 GMs, which is why he won't have a job anymore.

I personally don't think either Vick or Gradkowski should be setting foot on an NFL field ever again... If Ben gets hurt, we need to pray that the good Landry shows up.

Not if your name is Morris. Then he will incorrectly infer, misrepresent, post stupid irrelevant stats how in some country you never heard of, it equals 5, post a 10 page dissertation which points to nothing and then by the end of the whole debate he will try and pass it off as you are the one claiming it equals 5.

Are you sure? Because your argument now is Gradkowski is better because Vick is out of the league. Maybe that Vick is 36 at the start of the season and can't play 2 games in a row without injury had something to do with that?! Haha.

"Vick is worse than any other QB in the league..."

    Your position is laughable. Laughable.

It's cute RPO taught you a new word and you're running with it though. "Inference 5478" haha.

Inference is when someone fills in the blanks. I had to with RPO because he attacks other people's positions without giving his own therefore inference is required.

Vick: 4x Pro Bowler, all-time rushing leader for QBs, comeback player of the year, highest paid player in NFL at one point, 2015 play was right on par with the rest of his career, 61-51 as a starter 2-3 in the playoffs...

Gradkowski: average 2009 season somehow miraculously keeps him in NFL. Blast claims tape is the only way to evaluate players but clearly hasn't watched tape on Gradkowski who is 6-14 on his career while lobbing ducks that Manziel could only dream of throwing.

This is where I get accused of twisting other people's statements when Blast clearly stated Vick was the worst QB in the NFL after I stated that Gradkowski's career passer rating would be good for 59th best QB in the NFL out of 61 players.

There is no way Gradkowski should be in the NFL right now to even have this conversation.

Who cares who the 3rd backup is?!

The issue is Blast's patently ridiculous statements that Skip Bayless would cringe to make.

Found out Gradkowski is the 56th highest paid QB which is right on par for the 59th rated passer.

I think this Team should be on the lookout for any young QB that gets cut . I don't like either bu option that we have . I think most fans will agree that our chances without Ben are slim to none . Not a very strong place to be in at the QB position...
