Well, they never did have Billings in for a visit, should have expected this. Guess I was making too much out of his dinner with Greene.

I assume they are thinking that they are professionals and PFF is "us" with more time on our hands?

Oh I agree with you that golson will start, I meant burns and Davis when I said two rookies. And I don't dislike the player I just thought he was a round 3-4 pick.

I get that. but I have always said when you pick late in a round sometimes you have to pick a guy early

I would have liked Simmons better if they were going safety, but I'm OK with this pick. Wouldn't have been my next pick after Simmons but oh well. Bullard would have been my next.

Hargrave in the 3rd for our d-line would be nice.

Depth is lacking? We've got tuitt and heyward and then nothing. We have jack **** at nt. Heyward and tuitt can't continue playing 80% of the snaps. Harrison is 100 years old. Sacks? Look where they came from. Harrison got his at the tail end of of blowout. At olb we've got garbage in Jarvis jones. An unproven Dupree. A replacement level player at best in moats. At ilb we've got an often injured shazier. Timmons is at the tail end of his career. Yes, a house of cards.

Wow, I have no idea what to think of this draft. I'm not gonna get upset cause I'm just kind of bewildered right now.

Yea, but there's a difference between our personal disappointment and thinking the front office is dumb

I'm disappointed. I put a lot of spare time into this stuff. But there is a reason I'm a business professional, and not a scout.

    But i believe/trust the professionals

I had a brief stint with PFF, but ultimately decided my time was better spent elsewhere.

Ok, guys, everybody post the players you had targeted for round 4. I will choose the one I like best and root for them to take him a round early in round 3. I liked Max Tuerk in the 4th so I am assuming he will be the third round pick.

What about nt? McCullers? What did he play 25 snaps last year? Do you really think heyward and tuitt are going to be able to continue playing all of those snaps? What happens when they get injured? We've got **** behind them. What has Dupree proven? Not a damn thing.

Trying to trade up for Billings now. If unable to target will be Hargrave, or Nassib.

The Steelers are definitely going for speed in the secondary.

I guess what we learned at the Billings dinner is that he likes to eat food.

Don't get me wrong. I have a very high opinion of PFF. But... I have a high opinion of myself as well, but that doesn't mean anything

Ultimately, we revisit in 2-3 years.

Duh the draft isn't over either. The team had 48 sacks last season and the secondary should be improved, addition by subtraction.

Those 3 and Bullard thrown in is who I'd be happy with.

Assuming Billings is gone, Hargraves rides to the top of my want list. Followed by Nassib, Kaufusi, Correa in no order. Dj reader is in the convo.

They had a good chance to add a real good DE to help Tuiit and Hayward and they choose Davis? Wow. Onward to round 3.
