    Never heard of this guy...
    Wanted Von Bell...

    Gotta trust the F.O.?

They wasted no time on makin the pick...
Must have scouted him as someone they wanted, if he was available...
Anyone shed some light on why?

His ability to adjust to and track the ball is seriously good. Just like Golson.

After thinking about, I think this might end up being a good pick. My girls last name is Burns, and she is persistent, unrelenting, constantly rides my azz, and leaves no breathing room. Very high motor, won't quit till she gets her way.

I don't think think I've ever held on to a football for more than a minute. Shutdown in the truest sense, I try to avoid her when possible.

Won't matter if you don't get pressure on the QB, and with Jax gone there were guys to add to the DL to make that happen. Burns is a 2nd rounder at best. Go DL and if you want Burns move up in the 2nd and get him.

Ok, had a beer and calmed down.

I don't have anything against the kid and I obviously wish him the best.

My sourness was at how this pick came about pure and simple. We could have traded down and still got him. And we damn well should have known we'd have to trade up to get anyone else.

I don't have any concerns about his size or speed. But his lack of tackling ability, and not so great tape gives me pause. Does he have potential? Sure! Tons of it. But you only draft "potential" when you have that luxury. We didn't at that position. This is more like a gambler's Hail Mary all in bet with J/7.

If we got him at a value pick, I'd be doing a happy dance.

I like the burns pick. It just doesn't sit well with me how it went down. The Steelers / Bengals rivalry just went up a notch in my book.

you have lost your mind if you think he would have been there in the second. so then you either reach for a 3rd rounder in the 2nd or wait. then you would be pissed they didn't draft a corner in the first lol

when you take pieces of clay to mold in the first round... it's because it's a weak draft
