Heh, yeah. Some of the stuff people are "certain" they're hearing is hilarious. I'm not proud to admit that I downloaded the audio, slowed it down, adjusted the bass and treble in Premiere, and I couldn't hear anything remotely like what some people claim to be hearing. I do believe that someone is screaming a certain name, though. :)

I like your process of elimination, though, I don't know if we can trust Gimple and Kirkman. :cautious:

    @Blast...
Yeah, they were definitely in a menacing situation, But I guess it felt too similar to them being lined up at the trough, in Terminus...
    Been there, seen that...

I would have preferred something more creative, and that lasted longer than just the last few minutes of the episode...

Negan appears, throws out a couple good lines, bashes head(s), wait for next season...

I was expecting something more involved, with him on camera longer, probably physically and psychologically torturing the group members individually...

Watch what you ask for, I guess, we have all of next season(when it finally gets here), to see just how sick and twisted he is.

As for the "no balls" comment, I meant they would be taking the easy way out, if the actor who was going to play him, had decided to part ways with the show, since he has so much more on his plate, at the moment.

Or maybe he was asking for more of a raise, than they wanted to give him... Pure speculation, on my part, there...

If they already knew he wasn`t going to be part of the show, then he kinda gave them no choice...

They could look fearless for killing off such a fan favorite, in a brutal way, or, they would get roasted by the fans, for writing him off the show in a "disappearing" storyline..(BadBoy Hero rides off in search of??)...

And when I wrote that, I forgot exactly who was in the "lineup"...

There really aren`t too many "non-favorite" options.

Even Eugene, has always been funny for his dialogue, and has lately found his "courage"...

If they kill Sasha, Aaron, or Rosita, I will still consider that an "easy way out", without offending the fans...

I doubt they have "lost their balls"...
I fully expect them to "offend" their fans, by killing off a beloved character(or more as next season progresses)...

That comment was fueled more by alcohol, than reason, and I didn`t have a handle on how to explain the difference between the writers/ actors(reality), and what`s going on in the show/ characters(fantasy)..

    Clearly, I still don`t... LOl...

I`m putting the keyboard down now.

Thanks for calling me on it.

I did read an interview with one of the principal writers of the show, saying he loved
"cliffhanger endings", in comic books, and he promised to "make it up" to the audience, with a "spectacular" opening to next season, to make it "worth our wait"...

I will take him at his word, because I love cliffhangers too, and this one is ripe with speculation as to what actually happened..(Unlike Glenn`s bull**** escape from under the dumpster..)

    We will see...

Ok, I tried to find the link, but that was this morning, at work, on Yahoo news, and I can`t seem to google the same interview no matter how hard I try...

    See Y`all in October...

Okay, I finally got around to watching this last night. After thinking about it and digesting it, I have a couple of issues with this.
First, the skinny blonde guy (can't remember his name) that captured Glenn, Rosita, Michonne and Daryl. How did Daryl and Michonne in particular get ambushed like that. They have shown a superior ability to not have someone get the drop on them in the past. It seemed just too convenient here. And honestly, I didn't realize the blonde guy was working with Negan. I just thought he was his own little group.
Second, why did they take so many people with them to go to the hilltop? I get Maggie was sick, but couldn't they have just put her in a car and taken one or two people? Why take the whole RV?
I think Rick also made a pretty big tactical error with this whole episode. After the third time when they kept giving them a bigger roadblock, why didn't they go back to the first place they encountered a road block? There were fewer people there. If they were going to make a stand, they might as well have gone where the fewest people were. Unless of course they were somehow tracking the RV and communicating via radio or something.
And, speaking of Maggie being sick, I know it sucks, but they should have just turned back when it became pretty evident that they weren't going to get through. Send a single person out for the doctor on a motorcycle or something through the woods. If Maggie dies, it sucks, but trading one life for everyone seems like it would fit the greater good.
As for who got the bat, I'd still lay my money on Glenn. Aaron seems the easy way out, and I just don't think they would kill off Daryl. Although Abraham is a possibility, since he kind of had the moment with Sasha in the RV saying how we wants to give having a family a try. He's kind of become more human, so maybe he had to go?
I'm more curious how they ultimately deal with Negan. I can't see Rick just allowing that brutality to happen and not ultimately get revenge.
Oh, and if I'm nitpicking here, was no one ever hit with Lucile before? I think the bat should have had blood stains and whatnot on it, not have been in pristine condition.

Yeah, my wife and I both waved bye-bye at the screen when he was having that sunlit moment in the RV.

As far as Lucille goes, I didn't think about it, but I think he or someone close to him keeps her cleaned and looking lady-like on a regular basis. Not a spoiler per se, but he flat out says he would make love to her if he could in the comics.

    ...

First point, Yeah, Daryl and Michonne should have been more savvy to their environment...
But Daryl, was flat out out of his his head with rage, and regret...

He shoulda killed the blond prick, in the first place, and when the others went to find him, apparentley, their concern for him, outwieghed their natural "survival instincts"...

When he told them to basically screw off, and he was gonna do what he was gonna do, that pretty much showed they were ALL not acting like they usually would...

At least Daryl came back, and TRIED to rescue them, even with Glenn waving him off...

"Convenient?"...Yes, But I could buy it... They still didn`t realize how much larger Negan`s group was...

    Second point,
Yes, when blonde prick first captured Daryl, I also thought they were seperate from Negan`s group, But I did wonder about the possibility...

As for why they took so many of the group, I was wondering about that myself...

Didn`t make sense, when they were preparing for an imminent attack...

I asked in an earlier post,,

Who did they leave to defend Alexandria???

The rest of it, I pretty much agree, except I would have attacked the first group they encountered, instead of going on to encounter the larger roadblocks...

I have no idea how they will "deal with", or escape Negan`s control...

    Should get interesting...

I think Negan`s "tactical error" may have been letting Rick, and the rest of the group he had lined up in front of him survive, if indeed, he did...Minus one...

I also agree "Lucille" should look a little messy, after the damage she`s done!!
After all, we saw the results posted on the wall, at Negan`s outpost!

You know, maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but I have to say I don't really feel as though Negan is in the wrong here. Yes, his men tried to stop Daryl, Sasha and Abraham on the road before. But they dealt with that and moved on. Rick bit off more than he can chew, and the Alexandrians will have to pay for what he did to the compound.
It seems as though Rick forgot that there is ALWAYS a bigger dog somewhere.

They covered who was left in Alexandria early on when they talked about training and people being ready to fight. I disagree about the need for Lucille to be messy. I'm guessing she was messy at first, but Negan learned quickly that bits of rotting flesh, bone etc stink like hell.

Rick and Co. were only going after Neegan's group because of the dictatorship Neegan was trying to enforce on Hilltop. Rick's group agreed to help put a stop to that, which I see as Neegan being in the wrong, so that they could get supplies that they needed.

I agree that Negan and the Saviors were kind of dictating the residents of the Hilltop, and taking their supplies. But, why do they (Alexandrians) immediately jump to the thought of slaughtering the entire group of them? There was no diplomacy there at all. While talking might not have worked, the least they could have done is see who they're going up against. Then again, there is the chance that Negan just would have taken all their stuff right then and there, so that's a possibility too.
I guess at the end of the day in this world, no one is truly innocent. You can't be to survive.

Morgan actually DID raise the possibility of "talking with them"(diplomacy), at the meeting at the church, before the raid..

No one else backed him up.
(and I wouldn`t have either... there are some people you just can`t reason with...)...

And a moot point, but, Negan wouldn`t have been there... they would have been dealing with his "representatives" at that point, although they had no way of knowing that...Aand they would have lost the "element of surprise", that Rick was counting on..

And that was one of my original problems with the attack...
Logistics... How do you know if you`ve killed them all?
When you don`t know how many there were?

That was brought up when dude came out on Daryl`s bike, and right before, when Michonne asked "I wonder which one was Negan?"...

I forget who asked the question of Jesus(or someone else), at Hilltop, about how big of a group the "Saviors" were, and the reply was, "we`ve seen them in groups of 20."...

No one is innocent at this point, but Rick was getting a little cocky, as evidenced by his reply of "We don`t have a problem with confrontation", when he agreed to "take out" the Saviours, in exchange for food, and supplies, from Hilltop...(Or, "We`ll just TAKE this place", when he was threatened to get kicked out of Alexandria...or, laying in bed with Michonne ,"I won`t LET anyone take this from us!"...)

    "This is how we SURVIVE"...

Yeah, You`re right, he didn`t consider that there might be a bigger "dog"/group, in the fight than his, up until now, they`ve pretty much rolled thru everything they came up against(with the exception of getting lucky Carol saved their ass, in Terminus)...

He`s about to get a HUGE slice of humble pie, and have to deal with the regret, that his choices led to this point...

He pretty much went psycho, at the prison, after his wife died..
    Wonder how he`ll take this???

On a side note, after reading the nitpickers on the web...

Where were all the zombies, when they were in the middle of the woods at night, with lights, and loud voices???:hmm:

Could have used a little intervention, there... :shrug:LOL...

Well she's not that far along and the only thing I see happening is her getting the virus triggered by the dead baby.

Baby is not able to damage her yet.

They established early on that everyone has the virus, but it doesn't take effect until you die, and that the bite doesn't give the virus but causes rapid death. So I don't think she'd be in danger from the baby (not having teeth), but it would be pretty messed up to have a zombie baby be born.

they also established that on death it's triggered. I was thinking that since it's triggered on death and the baby is dead inside here (umbilical attached) It would trigger her as well.

The zombie fetus idea is just twisted, and sick...

I don`t think they will go THAT far....

But they might...I wouldn`t be shocked if they did...

As far as who meets "Lucille"...

    My money is on Abraham...
I Ain`t happy about it, but he did get up almost off his knees and stare Negan down, while Negan was makin his speech...

And he`s had a "death wish", for awhile...(Plus, in the comics, he`s dead already, from the "arrow thru the eye")...

I read a website, that pointed out, most of the characters on their knees, had their hair in their eyes, in that scene...

He didn`t... Glenn Did, Daryl did, Rick did, Carl did(and an eye-patch), Michonne did, and didn`t, depending on the scene, Maggie did, Eugene had one eye swollen shut, Sasha didn`t, but, he (Negan), doesn`t usually kill women...

The only other guy that didn`t have his hair hanging down in front of his eyes, was the guy from Alexandria, that "recruited" Daryl, to bring more people to Alexandria...
Forget his name, but, he showed Daryl the pieces of the bike he had in his garage, for Daryl to put together...

Him, and Abraham, are the only ones that wouldn`t have had their vision obscured by some hair hanging in front of their eyes, when Negan swung Lucille down on their heads...

Assuming he wouldn`t have killed a female...

Rick`s the leader of the group, But, Abraham, could easily be seen as the next biggest threat, especially when he stares down Negan , from his knees, and rises half-way up, from his knees...

Knowing that his insubordination could cost him his life....

I guess we`ll find out in October, but my money is on Abraham getting beat down...

I hope I`m wrong... Glenn should never have survived the dumpster episode... But, who knows?

Is it October yet??? Come on, Fall weather, TWD and FOOTBALL!

Apparently TWD producers are trying very hard to keep the victim secret and filmed death scenes for all characters involved.

    http://screencrush.com/walking-dead-season-7-negan-victim-cast/

And because scenes are shot out of sequence, can't even read into anything about who doesn't show up for filming.

I still don't know who I think it is. Keeps changing for me.

I will not lie I broke down the other day and read one of them Walking Dead updates on facebook. I went on and read the comments and people pretty much all agree on what happens and give facts to back it up. I will not post it here but I am not happy with what I read.....for one reason cause I couldn't hold back anymore and I read the spoilers. But also for who I read it was..........:puking2::cry:

I'm still afraid it's Darryl. A lot of people thing its Glenn, but in a season where he supposedly died once already, would they pick him again?

I don't know, either of them will suck. Basically Aaron is the only one they can kill off and not be a bummer, he's the equivalent of Star Trek redshirt :lolol:

I am not going to say anything cause I think it would be wrong for someone to come on here and say who they read it is. Has anyone read all the stuff on facebook? I know you can only believe 1/10 of it but if you want an inside look and can't take it anymore...like me, read the comments they give it away. Thats all I will say on that.
