Why are we wasting time on kickers?

 

I don't see it as wasting time. I see it as a coach turning over every possible stone to improve his team.

 

Because he's kicking 75 yard field goals. He's kicking from the left 35!

 

I get that and you're right.
I just think with the two kickers we have under contract we aren't going to be in the market for a kicker.

 

If we have a guy who can kick 75 yarders, we don't even need a quarterback.

 

Couldn't they actually show the video? That's a kick-off, not a FG, and he doesn't get iced.

Yea. I was going to say if he plans on running up 17 yards before kicking to make a FG attempt then there won't be a need for him anyway cause 100% of those will end up being blocked.

actually for indoors that died pretty soon. If he was booming it I'd expect that to hit the netting behind the Goal posts!

 

Aguayo has a strong leg but can be a little cocky. I had to laugh when he said he would have made the tackle on the famous Auburn return against Alabama. When his kick was blocked by Georgia Tech last season he completely whiffed on the tackle.

 

Kicker is the one area the Steelers don't need to look at. They have 2 good ones.
