He was released by the Browns. I really wanted the Steelers to draft him in the 7th. Is the ACL still not right?

I'm guessing the release indicates his knee is shot.

I can't even pronounce his name. How am I supposed to root for him?

I wanted him late as well. Good DB coming out
but the knee injury screwed him.

If he was healthy enough the Browns wouldn't have released him, his career is probably over.

I liked this kid coming out and if I remember right he was projected at one point as a top 10 pick. With that said I wanted the Steelers to take a flyer late on him, if there is anything wrong with him I say no but if this kid is good what do we have to lose?

He was released with an injured designation, so I'm guessing he failed a physical. Bad news. I feel bad for the kid, but no, if its true that his knee isn't right yet, no interest in bringing him in.

This camp is reporting that he's progressing nicely. He may be on the shelf another year but they're talking him up.

Hmmm... If it were a real NFL team, I'd believe the reports that he was released with an injury designation over anything from the player's camp. However, it is the new look Browns we're talking about. You know, the team that's being run by an attorney and a baseball guy. So, who the heck knows what to believe? The actual reason he was released could be that the Browns' brass doesn't think he can hit a major league curve ball.....

I was a neighbor to Mark Brunner (good guy). He taught me to pronounce Fu's name. Now I don't have a neighbor to assist.

Interesting, I would have thought Clev. released him because they thought the injury was career ending. Surprised a team picked him up. Guess they could release him if their doctors feel it's not a good prognosis.
