Should the Steelers double dip at the CB position in the 2016 draft?

Wow...your way overreacting. Sorry but I dont think a hobbit cornerback is going to be able to cover our top two nemesis wide receivers in the division. Why does that hurt your feelings so much? If you dont agree, then that's fine. To each his own. Being a Steelers fan does not mean I have to agree with every opinion given. That's being myopic. You need to grow up and understand that people have different opinions.

Dean, only one over reacting and being sensitive is you. Go back and read his first post to you, he simply countered your statement with his own thoughts about those players. There was no reason at all for you to react the way you did to it.

Blast, my thoughts were about players. I never talked about him personally did I? No. He was the one getting personal.

And so was his reply but you responded by saying he was being sensitive. That would have gotten under my skin too. Not sure how giving a breakdown of the players you bashed is getting personal.

Blast, you see what you want to see and ignore what you want to ignore. I'm not going to go back and forth with you. Everyone can see the post.

Anyone know why Dangerfield isn't kept around? His play was definitely above Shamarko's. I get that they like to shoot for higher ceilings, but come on! I like guys that leave it all out there.

NO SAFETY? Steelers will have to have a safety unless they feel that Grant being moved
    can do the job.

Yes and also sounds like he is a pretty good student of the game:

Golson noted that he played extensively against big wideouts in the SEC, so he should be able to adapt to the NFL as well.

"My understanding of the game, my first three years, I was taking my time and perfecting my game,'' Golson said. "I went through a lot of film-watching, and I needed to get that experience in.''

when aj green extends up over golson to catch that ball in the back of the EZ, golson should be at the right level to bite his nut sack and if aj comes down with it then he deserves the TD.:smiley1::cool:

We should double dip DB, but double dipping at CB isn't a necessity. They actually double dipped at CB last year after how many years in a row of people calling for it?

You're not likely going to get a CB who can step in and replace an injured player in the late rounds unless we're talking about special teams. They'll likely bring in a guy or two this summer to account for that.

So... Are you saying that Golson has a tendency to bite on the ball fake?

this is where i think a guy like frankie williams would be a great pick in the bottom of the 7th. he'd give us a fs backup. cb backup. punt returner. kick returner. not to mention he's pretty good at all of those spots and give us really good depth. this would give us a late rounder worthy of a roster spot in many ways. i think he'd be a good cover your butt guy and could contribute on ST's early.

Golson plays the slot, Green will be on the outside Golson most likely won't be covering Green anyway.

I have no problem with them double dipping at CB, they were the 30th ranked pass defense for a reason. This draft is deep at CB and they lost two CBs to free agency, I want them to draft a CB in rd 1 then get another one in rd 3 or rd 4 a Cyrus Jones type he can return on special teams also.

How many Darryl Greens are there? Are you confident that Golson is one of those guy?

Well Tomlin isn't. That's why he's having dinner with Alexander and also out there coaching up WIII on his proday.

Haha...thats nice that we a cornerback that will be in a position to position his jaw for a nut bite. I'm sure Mel Blount and Rod Woodson would be proud. LOL.
