Yep, that game will always stick in my craw until I die. We have had a few games like that that over the years where we dominate and yet lose, but in a Championship game? Ugh! Same thinking about the SB that year. We would have at least given the 49ers a game.

It changes every decade or so. In the 70s the Raiders, Browns and Cowboys would have topped this list. In the 80s the Browns and Oilers (that Run-n-Shoot team gave us fits). In the 90s the Cowboys jumped up to #1, the Bengals were there, Jacksonville became very annoying and the Chargers forever entered Steelers lore in '94 ('95 AFCCG).

The past few years, when I root for an NFL team to lose. It goes:

    1) New England
    2) Baltimore
    3) Cincinnati
    4) Seattle
    5) Green Bay

I absolutely loathe the Seahawks beginning with XL and gaining steam with each successful season and their bandwagon fans.

Green Bay fans are trashy. And I have been surprised over the years to hear so many of their fans talk so much smack about our team. I used to like 'em. Their fans killed 'em for me.

Jets were really annoying a few years ago but it was just a 2 year period. I live in NY and I had every giant fan I knew in the world calling me and asking me if we were gonna win. They hated Jets, I was very confident we would beat them. That would have been a tough one to swallow...............

Yeah I'm with you about the Cowboys. Just doesn't matter who the Raiders have we can't beat them soundly. The Jaguars was another team that seem to have our number along with the Chargers and Patriots. But the team I hate the most now, is the Ravens (especially their coach) and Bengals. You can actually call them 1a and 1b.

    For me, it's:

    1. Bengals
    2. Ravens
    3. Raiders
    4. Pats
    5. Cowboys

I used to hate the Ravens more than the Bengals, but that has changed in the last couple of years.

I don't include the Browns because I just don't consider them to be enough competition to even be worth mentioning. I also have a lot of relatives that are huge Browns fans and I feel more pity for them than hatred.

Yeah I've always thought of the Jags as a rival as well. More so back in the day than now though. The Titans kind of are a rival to us also and really going back to the Oiler days.

Ha, that reminds me of when I was about 8 years old or so, and me and my best friend made up a song to the tune of London Bridge that just basically went "Houston Oilers stink so bad, stink so bad, stink so bad" over and over again :D

LOL! I can tell you what REALLY ticks off Titans fans is when you're at a game in Nashville and you just refer to the Titans as the "Oilers" for the whole game. LOL!

Half the teams being mentioned aren't rivals, they are just teams those fans hate :lolol:

    The only current rivalry is:

    1) Ravens
    2) Bengals

All time, you can add in:

    3) Raiders
    4) Cleveland
    5) Dallas
    6) Oilers

Wow, at least we have somethin we can all pretty much agree on...

Dallas, and Oakland, all of us "old school" members hate..(and some "younginz")...

    Currentley,

The Cravens(used to be Clowns), and the Bungles have earned the right to be "respected" as "rivals"...

They are definitely the teams in our division, that fight us the hardest every year, to win the division..

We pretty much agree that the current version of the "Clowns" is not a threat...

And we all hate the Cheatriots"(Except BFT, but, more power to him, for sticking to his convictions...LOL:D)

Santee hates the Chargers, and some of us do, too, based on AFC Championship Game...

    For #6...

I don`t have much left to pick from...

Green Bay is a fair target, since they are the only team besides Dallas, to beat us in the Bowl,

But I just don`t hate them... they beat us, period, and they play the game the right way...

I guess I could nominate The Cardinals("Steelers West, with Arians and our cast-offs)...

Or, now Tennesse, with LeBeau, and whoever Arians can`t get...

The only other team I could put on the list would be Denver...

They have knocked us out of the playoffs before... I will say Tebow`s win, was one of the most painful things I have ever watched...

But they`ve been a thorn in Cleveland`s side, too...

I don`t like Elway, but, I respect what he could do on the field...

Say what you will about Manning, but he deserves a spot in the HOF... And Elway went all out, to get him on the team...

    Can`t really HATE them...

I guess what I`m saying, is...

    # SIX would be the difficult question...

After the obvious ones, I don`t really have another team to nominate...

    do you?
