So looks like Beachum is gone according to reports on NfL.com and Pro Football Focus. Its a pity, I know AV did an alright job last year but Beachum was really good before his injury. Ah well, next man up eh.

I wonder if he got more than what the Steelers offered him at the beginning of last season.

Could be kicking himself for that move.

I wish him well, accomplished a lot for a 7th rounder but we can do better, hopefully with AV.

Liked Beachum, but it's apparent being a Steeler wasn't his #1 priority. Some guys just want to get paid, which I don't fault, but go somewhere else for that.

BF said it right - Beachum was a classic over-achiever who did what was required and excelled as a back up, as well as being pretty handy as a starter.

It will be interesting to see how well he fares over with the Jags.

Beachum is a real classy guy. The business side of football makes players make some very difficult decisions about where to play and for what money. I hope he does great, except when he plays us, lol.

This is a decent deal for him...a 1 yr prove it deal but could turn into a 5 year deal worth decent money. Good for him! Don't think the Steelers could have matched that!

You people know the Jags were like 90 million under the cap last year.

I think they better spend up to the cap or the natives may get restless. It's time

to shine down in Northern Florida.
