Poor Kap, might go from one dumpster fire to another. If I were him, wouldn't agree to it. Denver is apparently locked in on him with Fitz as their backup plan.

I think they are crazy if they go with Kap over Fitz. Fitz is the idea qb for them. Just a game manager that can stand in the pocket and throw it. Kap is much more risky and not nearly as good of a pocket passer I'd say. I would love to see Kap twice a year too.

I agree but I guess they are thinking that if he can recapture what he did early in SF coupled with their defense, theyd be pretty unstoppable.

I don't think he will have that success again though because I think defenses learned how to defend him. He burst onto the seen, no film on him but defenses catch up, always do.

Every body is mentioning Fitz, he needs on a a loaded team to be successful, oh he was last year
with the Jets and still lost to Buffalo Bills and threw zillion int's. By the way thanks again Bills,
without you beating the Jets, Steelers are not in the playoffs.

And the sad part is all the Jet fan I talk to want Fitz back, they talk about how good of a season he had. I laugh and tell them you keep thinking that, don't forget as good of a season you had you did what???? Oh that's right he gave us a playoff spot, ty Fitz and you Jet fans hang onto that. I don't get their fan base's thinking, living here in ny I get to deal a lot with NYJ, NYG and Bills fans!:frustrated::frustrated::frustrated:

Fitz isn't a good fit for Cleveland but he's perfect for Denver. Thats a loaded team, Jets are not loaded.

Look what they have had lately? Can you blame them for wanting Fitz back? Their next choice is Geno or drafting a QB again.

Fitz is a game manager, hes like Alex Smith, hes not going to carry a team on his shoulders but he can do well on a team with a good defense that keeps games close.

Acyually Blast take a look at that team, they had Marshall and Decker two very good WR and a good oline. There defense is pretty damn good and now they added Forte....they are one QB away from being scary, imo. I think RG3 is a good fit there......

I consider them an up and coming team but not loaded. But, you're from NY like me so you know they will find a way to be the same old Jets :lolol:

Would be risky going with RG III, I do hope he gets another shot somewhere, think he got a raw deal in Washington.

OMG, I feel the same way about RG3, I know he caused some stuff himself but he did get a bad deal in Wash. As for the Jets yeah no matter what they will find a way.....lol!

If it wasn't for the Buffalo Bills beating Jets for us , THE JETS J E T S would have beaten us

out for the playoff spot. They are a playoff caliber team, and with a qb like ours would be considered a

    Superbowl caliber team:facepalm:

The Jets lost to the mighty Bills twice. Yeah, real power house those Jets are. The team overachieved, no one gave them a prayer before the season started. Their success was largely in part because Fitz stabilized the QB position. Lets see if they can actually make the playoffs this season before anointing them anything.

And lot of teams would be better with a QB like Ben, they don't grow on trees though and Kap and RG are not Ben.

To each his own I am going to have to agree to disagree. The Jets have lots of talent.

I agree they have some talented players but not what I would consider loaded.

I think the best thing they have going for them at the moment is their coach, Bowels seems to be the real deal.

Wow you don't feel they have one of the best 1-2 WR duo? They have a very good Dline as well as a good over all D as well, heck Fitz took them to a 10-6 record. Think about that for a second, Fitz!!!!!!!

If you think the Jets are loaded, then you must think we are the creme de la creme :lolol:

I don't even consider us loaded, why would I think the Jets are? We are loaded on the offensive side but not the defense.

I dont know why you think the Jets almost made the playoffs inspite of Fitz instead of him being part of the reason they almost made it. He throw for nearly 4,000 yard (almost breaking Namaths franchise record) and 30 TD's which is a franchise record.

If you want to question his ability to do that again, thats fair but to act like he had a bad season is a gross misjudgment of what he accomplished.

Without Fitz last year, Jets are lucky to win 6 games.

And no, I don't consider the Jets to have one of the best duos at WR. Marshal is on the wrong side of 30 (33 next season) and I always felt Decker was overrated.

Were're not the cream de la creme????? WTF, freakin Bryant, lmao. Anyways, I am not doubting the good season Fitz had what I am doubting is the fact that it was all him. Look at what he done with the other teams he was with and he had some ok talent around him, never a winning season. Now your view and my view are different on Marshall, the dude was 4th in rec yards last year and tied for 1st in td's....Decker was over 1000 yds and 2 less td's. You have to admit that is some big time numbers at WR, making them one of the best duo's in the league. I may even say made Fitz look pretty damn special last year.....................

I use to feel the same way about Decker, felt he cashed in off the big seasons with Manning, but I don't no more.

    :lolol:

I didn't know Decker had a 1,000, pretty good for a #2 but again, you say he made Fitz look good yet Decker didnt have that many TD's with Geno throwing him the ball, only 5, so I'd argue Fitz is more responsible.

All I meant about Marshal is that if we are talking about how "good" the Jets are, having an aging WR will become problematic soon. But yes, given those numbers between the two, pretty good tandem last year. Need more than a couple productive receivers to earn the loaded label from me though ;)

I think Ward is right and we'll all just have to agree to disagree. :hi:

    This just in:

Jets say that they have no interest in Kaperbum; They've discovered that they already have a bum like him sitting at the end of the bench named Smith. LOL
