If you were...

Starting an expansion team and could draft two current Steelers (one offense, one defense)who would they be?

Mine
Offense- A.B.
Defense- Cam Heyward

 

AB and Tuitt. I chose Tuitt because I think his ceiling could be even higher than Cam's. I'd be really tempted to take Shazier instead, but I'll stick with those two.

 

Guess I didn't think that through.

Ben and probably Tuitt. Although all of our guys have definitely got some room to grow on defense. I just think Tuitt sorta "gets it" and seems to be making a pretty good impact already.

 

AB for sure . And Cam Heyward is our best talent with the most upside so it would be him on D , but if I could trade 1 for another I would trade Cam for Martavis ...

 

Sammie Coates and Senquez Golson.

As an expansion team, I'd be trying to get the best draft picks for the early years, so would look to the young guys to grow into their roles.

 

Roethlisberger and Tuitt.

If you're starting a franchise and have a chance at a franchise QB you take it.

AB didn't do much when Ben went down. Had a big game vs. KC and bad ones vs KC and SD.

Expansion? I don't think any of the guys mentioned speak British - closest thing would be Jordan Berry

 

I'd probably take Bell and Bryant.

Offense excites and fills the seats so I'd focus my attention on the young explosive offensive weapons I could build a team around while entertaining fans and filling the stadium.

 

Bell over brown and brown is my favorite player. If the steelers had bell against the broncos they win that game by 3 scores.............

 

I like your faith but we've seen too many nail biters to even remotely be confident in that statement.

 

This is probably the most realistic, Steelers would never make their best players under contract expansion eligible. I'd add Beachum, Landry Jones, Blake, and maybe Brandon Boykin to the list. If they can put their free agents in a expansion draft??

 

For the sake of conversation there's no restrictions on who you can choose.

That's what I was thinking, some trench guys maybe Pouncey and Heyward or like you said DeCastro and Shazier. Can I have Boz on special teams?
