    2. Toussaint
    1. Todman

It was tough Todman did run backawards for 8 yards and get benched but he didn't fumble the game away so I gave him the slight nod.

    I'd say:
    Bettis
    Franco
    Rocky
    Merrill
    FWP
But..............I think all of them fumbled at least once so...........None!

    1. AB
    2. Ward
    3. Swann
    4. Stallworth
    5. Wallace

I put Wallace on there because he is the best deep threat in NFL history after Randy Moss, Cliff Branch, and Bob Hayes.

I really hope Wallace comes back to us. Such an amazing player and an all-around great guy. I'm sure everyone will agree with his inclusion on the top 5.

1-4 are pretty much a lock.

I thought Wallace might spice things up a little bit. I know how many fans around here he has ahaha.

Speaking of which, if I pay for postage does anyone have a Wallace jersey they want to send me?

If I had one I'd send it to you without postage because I feel like even that would be a ripoff. LOL!

CODY Wallace is #1 on my list of "NFL players I don't want to see wearing gloves."

#2... Orenthal J. Simpson. Ha. Cause he's a murderer. Get it? Ha. (Read in Norm McDonald SNL Fake News voice).

LOL! Norm is the greatest Weekend Update anchor of all time. Lorne Michaels apparently thought he was horrible but kids from my generation thought he was a genius. I absolutely love him. Top 5 Weekend Update Anchors: Dan Akroyd, Jane Curtain, Norm McDonald, Dennis Miller, Jimmy Fallon. Also Colin Quinn is the worst I've ever seen and I couldn't even stand the sight of him.

    3. Bill Murray
    4. Jane Curtin
    5. Dan Akroyd

    I really hate Fallon.

I forgot about Chevy. I remove Dennis for him. I only liked Fallon back then and not now.

There's a channel on YouTube that has all Norm's Updates pretty much. Username is Helpful Edits if you're interested. The vids are grainy to get around copyright bots.

Bell is the type of player we were trying to get when we drafted Mendy. A big guy that could move well and be a 3 down back. He just never turned out to be as good as we thought he would be. I thought Mendy was a fine RB tho. Not flashy, didn't do anything great but was average or better at most things. He did turn a lot of negative yardage plays into 1-2 yard gains tho. He had nice feet. Just sucked for him that he played behind a garbage OL. He definitely took more heat than he deserved.

I am not old enough to have seen any of the backs pre 1994, so I can't make a legitimate list. In terms of sheer talent Bell has to be up there. I'd put Bettis first, but I saw him play and not Franco so my opinion there is clearly biased. I agree about FWP. He didn't have a long stint as a Steeler starter, but he was really a nice back for us. Would've won a rushing title had he not broken his leg in St. Louis.

Yeah, I think Bell and Mendenhall are similar backs too in style. Both are pretty big 230ish backs with vision and mobility like smaller backs and are good on 3rd down etc.

Like you said Bell is just a much better version. He does have a pretty good OL though. DeCastro is ProBowl level, Gilbert is really good... Pouncey coming back will be huge... AV is good. Foster could be upgraded. I wouldn't be surprised because a G/C would be nice depth. But I digress.

Bell has better ball security, better receiver (amazing actually) and is much better at making players miss/straight arms/hurdles.

I really hope Bell can get healthy. I know we all do. So frustrating to have missed him the last 2 playoffs!!!

Crazy if you don't have Louis Lipps in the 5 Steelers WR. He was basically the entertainment value of the Steelers from 1984-to 1990.
He played with utter crap at QB too.

Umm like top 3 coaches all time? Hard to do 5 isn't it?

Maybe some of you old guys remember pre Noll coaches? Haha.

    1. Tomlin
    2. Noll
    3. Cowher

I put Cowher at 3 because he is my personal favorite. If I put him any higher it would be reflecting personal bias.

I put Noll at 2 because he has 4 Super Bowls and took over a terrible team before creating a dynasty.

I put Tomlin at 1 because he is a visionary. Tomlin knew that the Steelers had decades of success by having a strong running game and elite defense. That didn't stop him from ignoring the running game, electing to throw 35+ times a game, and letting the OL fall apart as they added "weapons." As a result the Steelers have the best offense they have ever had. The offense is unstoppable in the regular season posting 25+ PPG with ease. Yes sir, it is a juggernaut offense capable of winning a wild card game once every 5 years.

    Bahahaha.
