That episode is going to be insane. And I think a major cast member is either going to become walker food or be killed by that wolves guy.

I assume Darryl, Sasha and Abraham will be rolling up in there big truck to save a bunch of them though.

Considering that at least half of this episode was filmed at the same time as the mid-season finale (maybe even intended to be part of it originally), well... I have a number. ;)

4 recurring characters - at least - die. No. I won't say who. I'm sure a few red shirts go with them. And at least 1 major central character is very seriously injured.

I think I have a pretty good idea about who's going to at least be hurt & I don't want it to happen.

I'm worried about Eugene for obvious reasons. If he does survive, it will play be because he locked himself in a closet somewhere.
I worry about Carol too- because she was unconscious the last time I seen her.
As far as Morgan, he can die. I used to like him & was so excited for his return. But then he came back with this ridiculous idea that all life is precious. That hoard probably wouldn't have gotten there if Morgan woulda just killed the Wolves. Then there's Carol & Denise. He's just going to continue to get people killed.

lol, I couldn't do it Ray, couldn't click on it :lolol:

I saw scenes this morning and I forgot, Darryl and his group meet Negans. So, not sure they are coming to anyones rescue.

I'm excited for the mid-season premiere. I hope Carol bites it, but I know she won't because my dreams never come true where this show is concerned. Haha!

Wow, wiped out the whole family

You couldn't leave Jessie with us??? Come on! Damn it.

I guess one thing is certain in the zombie apocalypse, you either end up walker bait or deformed. Now Carl can rock his hat and an eye patch. I didn't see that coming.

Oh, and Daryl is the coolest, that was epic :lolol:

Okay, I have a question that I just can't wrap my head around. Why did no one go to the armory? Once Carl was
    shot by porch dick Jr
they just completely gave up on that.
It was nice to see Gabriel finally nut up and do what needed to be done. His character might just have some hope yet.
And honestly, I am not the least bit upset about
Sam. Too bad he took some collateral with him. Also nice to see PDJr eat it via Michone's sword

On the Talking Dead, the producer, I think it was the producer, said that once Jessie allowed Sam to go with them instead of with Gabriel, that she sealed all their fates.

That being said, would anyone here have sent Judith off with Gabriel?? Wow, guess desperation makes you do crazy things. Could they have not at least sent another person with him, how was he supposed to fight off Walkers if he's holding Judith???

As for the armory, that plan was fubar the moment all that went down.

Looks like you were right on with your spoiler alert. Was that based off the comic or did you see that someplace else?

    Both.

The whole deal with Jessie happens in the comics, maybe slightly different (IIRC, she only has one son in the comics). And what happens to Carl also happens in the comics, but from a different character under different circumstances.

But I've known they shot this scene and how it went down for a few months. I honestly don't recall where exactly I first saw it mentioned.
My wife has a friend who lives where they film (less than a mile from the set) and we occasionally get some tidbits. Her family are all die hard TWD fans and frequently go down to the set. Nobody gets in usually, but from certain vantage points, you can see things being filmed.
And a few other (more public and easy to find if you look) sources that confirmed/went into great detail about it. ;) It's also how I knew Glenn was not dead in the slightest. :)

As an aside, a few months ago, her friend said all hell was breaking loose on set. "Lots of gun fire and multiple explosions inside 'Alexandria'." The set was closed off tight that night so all anyone could see was the fire rising in the air.
I think we just saw what they were filming that night.

After a little time to reflect on it I've come to the conclusion that last nights episode sucked.

Way too convenient. Everything was wrapped up neatly with little bows. An unarmed darryl takes on an armed attacker without making a sound?

IMO, this may be my favorite episode ever.
I don't think things were wrapped up that neatly.
As far as Daryl, he had a knife.

IMO, I think this may have been the best episode ever.
Poor little Sam. Jessie shoulda taken Sam & Judith with Gabriel. It should NOT have been his decision at all.
So great to see the Alexandrians, Gabriel, & Eugene fight. I was really scared that one of them was gonna die.
Poor Carl too. I was nervous about where the bullet ended up- but then they explained it on Talking Dead. I was thinking & if Ron pointed that gun at Carl & pulled the trigger, he probably would've missed. Carl only ever gets shot by accident.
As far as the Wolf, people are wondering whether he did what he did for himself- or for her. I think he did it for her. When Carol shot him, he had to have known that was it for him & he still tackled that walker to help her. It was nice seeing her step up to the plate & take care of Carl too.

From the beginning of that episode to the end, I was on the edge of my seat. I laughed, yelled, got nervous & scared, & at the end, I even cried. Can't wait to see what's next!

Fun episode. I think the 2nd half of the season is going to be pretty action-packed. I have never read the comics, but I'm guessing that this "Neagan" dude is going to be just a bit of a problem... :dancing:

I thought the guy who was doing the talking was Negan. And I thought that they dispatched of the entire group already and it would have really pissed off the internet. That obviously didn't happen, but it would have been a heck of a swerve.

Loved the episode. The rocket launcher from Daryl was epic. There are rumors going around now that Negan, or someone else in his group, drove up in the background and saw the explosion just as it happened. There's a close up video of the background where you can barely see the car pull up right before the explosion happens.

As for Sam, I thought it was incredibly dramatic that the whole family died right there, but you really saw it coming, although I thought the way it was filmed, it at first almost seemed like a dream sequence. Ron got his long due when Michonne took him out.

I don't think everything was tied up neatly in bows. You had a family completely wiped out, carl lost an eye, Negan's gang blowing up will surely have consequences.

I think that's much ado about nothing.

Probably just a filming error they missed, or figured no one would notice.

That doesn't mean you can just get away with killing 7-8 of Negan's men though. ;)

I was more referring to how Darryl was able to overcome a guy with a gun 30' from his friends and none of them heard a peep. Or how they arrived in the nick of time just outside the gates loaded up with ammunition to save Glenn. Outside of Carl losing an eye the core group came out totally unscathed. The people that did get hurt were TWD's equivalent of red uniform guy on Star Trek. It was far too convenient.
