On the radio yesterday I heard everybody picking Denver. Even Barry Sanders did.

    Depressing end to the season.

It's like the 2000 ravens have won the Super Bowl again. Game managing qb and great defense. Sound familiar? 2015 Peyton Manning: Trent Dilfer 2.0. LOL!

    I'll give you a reason.

How about expecting them to call PI when you mug a receiver?

Watch what happens to the so-called defensive ranking next year when the Manning hype isn't in effect....

It was like the Blunder Bowl 2.0 or something. Neither team looked good on offense. It wasn't just defensive domination. There were plenty of chances for the panthers and they didn't capitalize on them.

I felt like we saw true defensive domination in Super Bowl 48. There were a lot of drops and misses tonight on both sides of the ball. It could have definitely been a better game.

No way, that Denver pass rush was nasty, loved seeing them harass Brady all day 2 weeks ago and Cam tonight.

Maybe it's just me, but that game did nothing but even further enrage me about the Burfict hit. You are never going to convince me that that THUG (and I don't throw that word around lightly) didn't singlehandedly cost us a Super Bowl this year. We SHREDDED that Denver defense in the regular season; I fully believe that we would have beaten them again with a healthy AB, and that we would have gone on to end our curse against the Pats and win the Super Bowl. Maybe it's not politically correct to say this, but if someone doesn't take Burfict out for the season the first opportunity they get, they're not doing their job.

Defense wins championships. Old adage is proven again.

Letting an already very good defense get away with murder REALLY wins games. Proven all post season with Denver. Fact. Sorry if that offends anyone, but they get the benefit of blinders every game (and it certainly hurt our chances against them. Also a fact). Let our DBs hit early, grab arms early, and mug receivers and we'd look pretty good too. Maybe not AS good, but a lot better than we currently do.

    But it's... whatever.

Aside from watching a great pass rush (helped by said mugging, but I digress), this has to be one of the most boring SBs in history. Even the commercials sucked. Don't get me started on whatever that hot mess was that they called a halftime show.

Pittsburgh really needs to stay healthy next year so we can make it interesting again...
