I think they have a 2 year window to win a Super Bowl, Ben may start to decline and they won't be able to keep this offense together. Bell, AB may price themselves out of Pittsburgh.

Ben just had his best years so far. He also was banged up when we needed him. I have a hard time seeing him playing 5-6 more GOOD years. I'm just hoping his best years "so far" aren't his " best years".

Pens are the most under achieving team in Hockey, as some one already said. The 2
best players in the world and they have one 1 SC?

When you can't get away from a pass rush to protect yourself that is when you get in trouble. # 7
has three years tops. I know lots of QB's that their arm strength is still good, they can't protect themselves,
Steelers need to go all in these next two years and I think they will.

They are not the 2 best players in the world and never especially when it come to playoff hockey. Crosby folds in playoffs........... Much rather have a player like kane or toews.

Brown and bell are going nowhere. Yea we will probably loose bryant and or wheaton but that will not be for a while and then we have coates and we will get someone to fill in. One thing you have to give credit to steelers is they know how to draft recievers............

Hockey is a team sport. Pens have had horrible management especially after everybody ran Disco Dan and Shero out of town. They should have stuck it out like the Steelers do. Tomlin would be gone already if held to the same standard. Now that I think about it Dan and Tomlin are very similar both won Championships with somebody elses team and nada after.

Kane and Toews are good but they aren't better than Crosby and Malkin. Blackhawks have had a stacked team because they have had one of the best GMs in the league. They built thru the draft. Their wasn't a weak link on any of their 4 lines. They lost some players this year and I thought they would drop a little but nope, just filled the holes. But if the teams were flipped Crosby/Malkin would win just as many if not more.

Kane is a better player than crosby I am sorry. I love Sid but come on. Kane as a rookie gave the redwings fits in the west conf championship. Crosby did nothing against the wings in his prime, nothing. They embarrassed him 2 straight years. Malkins the one that got us through that series...........

Fleury takes more heat than he should. When your offense puts up 1 goal in 19 periods in a playoff series against Boston, what can you do? The thing about Fleury is that when we're scoring, he's giving up goals and when he's a rock, we're not scoring. He's had some stretches of great goal tending the past couple seasons but we haven't been able to get it going offensively.

Still, he'll probably be remembered for giving up too many soft goals, giving up too many rebounds he should have held on to, not knowing how to play goal after big bounces off the boards behind him and leaving the net against Columbus.

soft goals are demoralizing to a team in the playoffs that is why what the blackhawks are doing is astonishing. To have a kind of dynasty in todays era where you do not have great goaltending is ridiculous.

You also can't have a dynasty in any sport when you can't score.

How Fleury gets the condemnation and Crosby gets a pass is what is ridiculous.

They play two different positions. It's like comparing a qb and rb. Crosby has never been a pure goal scorer like Kane, Stamkos, Ovechkin, etc. He thinks pass before he shoots. Prime example when he got Kunitz on the Olympic team and 35 goals and 70 points. Crosby makes everybody around him better. Problem is he hasn't had any talent around him to make better. Kunitz has fallen off bad.

Blackhawks are stacked. One of the Pens best defensemen right now came from them and they haven't even dropped off a bit. Lost Saad. They are stacked. They have the best GM in the NHL.

Fleury definitely has confidence issues and he cost them at least one year with the soft goals. I try not to blame him a lot because he has had some horrible defense in front of him. I don't understand how you have arguably two of the best offensive players in the world and you want all offensive defensemen. I want my defense to play defense and offense score goals. If we need defensemen to score goals then we are screwed. This has been their biggest issue because it works in the regular season but when the playoffs come there's no open ice and it doesn't work.

If Brown gets too greedy I could see the Steelers letting him leave, if he wants 15 million a year or higher forget that.

Brown said he has zero plans about leaving and does not care about being highest paid receiver in league. Lets just hope that does not change because they probably would let him walk as bell is probably more important.....

If we dont get any depth at several positions it's going to be another BUST, and by the way if we dont quit using the same damn game plan every time we play the rats in these 3 point games we will keep losing to those thugs......

we could totally go 2-14 next year and it wouldn't surprise me. Or we can go 16-0 and win the Superbowl and have miami fans jump off a bridge. never know

I don't know... I can see Steelers letting really good receivers go, but Brown is something else. He is a gamechanger. Bell, when healthy is superb as well. Those two really aim to perfect their craft and get better. Ben needs yoga lol. I believe in keeping the nucleus around as much as possible, and fitting in other pieces here and there til you hit gold.

Every year there is an early favorite to win the SB and every year they are wrong. So I hope we are not the media darlings going into 2016 season. That's the kiss of death.

Who was it last season? The Packers and Bengals? Everyone thought the Colts, Cowboys, and Lions were going to be good at the end of last season...and why not? Turns out they couldn't have been more wrong. In fact I can't recall an early season favorite actually winning the SB.

I agree. Times we weren't supposed to win it (6th seed 2005) and hardest schedule in league(2008) we did.

Dont forget Bryant, he had a pro day against denvers defense in that playoff game, he had 9 catches for a 154 yards, he is a keeper and I look for him to have a break out solid season this year.....

No that is not true. Odds on favorite to win sbl were seattle pats and denver and that was pretty good. Odds on favorites are usually right there it is the sleeper picks or the up and coming picks that are the kiss of death.
