Steelers will not extend Bell this season

    It makes sense that the Steelers are cautious. We remember the Woodley six-year, $61.5 million deal and how that worked out.

    Yes, we made the playoffs this year without Bell, but I can't help but wonder if he were healthy all year maybe we win the division outright - maybe we get a much higher seed and a buy in the playoffs....who knows. I for one want to see what he can do in a full season (knock on wood)

    Woodley was lazy and got fat, Bell stays in great shape it's not like he tore his ACL.

    Sure hope Bell comes back 100%.

    He will get his extension if that happens.

    It is smart to wait.

    Never break the bank on a RB, if he is happy being a PGH Steeler
    than pay him a fair market value for RB. If he wants AP money he may as well forget it with the Steelers.
