Eight Pittsburgh Steelers were selected, the most of any team: Blount, Greene, Ham, Harris, Lambert, Noll, Swann and Webster.

Can't complain about any of those, but what's kind of funny to me - The `70s Steelers, 4-time SB champion, were known as the Steel Curtain. But only Joe Greene from that front 4 made the team. I know they couldn't put everybody on there and Blount, Lambert, and Ham made it, but how could Dwight White, Ernie Holmes, and LC Greenwood not make it????

Stahlworth would be worthy, but that's tough with the WR position in Super Bowls so many good ones.

Glad Joe Montana was named the QB. While some may disagree here, to me, Joe Montana is the greatest QB in NFL history.

I love Reggie White, but he only played in two Super Bowls. But he would be hard to leave off the list.

No Bradshaw?! No Stallworth?! This list is a travesty!

There could only be one qb and really it has to be Joe. I mean he never threw a pick in 4 appearances. It hurts me too though but I totally understand it.

Joe is great but I'd still take Bradshaw if I had to pick one QB to win the Super Bowl. When he had to come up big, he came up big!

These idiots on the radio where I live in CA, were saying Bill Walsh should be the coach on the list instead of Noll.

    I think the problem is
    a) Everyone knows Joe Greene, probably far more than the other guys (to non-Steeler fans, that is)
    b) There may be a perception that the 'steel curtain' is the whole front 7, if the not the defense, rather than just the front 4.

Hence those guys get left off these kind of lists.

I can't debate anyone on that list except maybe Novacek and Scott. I'm not sure offhand who I'd put at TE and S in their place, but I don't think of those guys as being all time great players. Maybe Dan Ross at TE. He had far and away the best performance in SB history by a TE statistically.
