So now that the final (hopefully) release date has been announced for April 26th, who else is looking forward to Uncharted 4?

I'm a huge Uncharted fan. Probably my favorite game since the PS3 came out, and now I'm really excited to see what Naughty Dog is going to do with it on the PS4.

Here's a recent cinematic clip from the game. It does reveal story elements, so skip if you don't want any story info ahead of time:

I've been a Naughty Dog fan for almost 20 years. It's weird because I know the Uncharted games are awesome but I've actually only played the first one for whatever reason. Actually The Last of Us was the last Naughty Dog game I played. I've got every system but I just play my XB1 the most because I've got so many buddies on XBL. I really only use my PS4 for Bloodborne because I am an absolute fanatic for Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 and Street Fighter 5 are the games I'm looking the most forward to. I also need to get the new Tomb Raider but just haven't done it. I'm actually just now getting around to playing Arkham Knight and the Bloodborne dlc. My wife wanted me to wait to get Arkham Knight just so she would have something to tell people to get me for Christmas besides vintage action figures. LOL!

I still haven't played The Last of Us. I almost bought it for my PS3, but now I'm kind of glad that I waited and can play the PS4 remaster. I did play the first 20 minutes at a friends house and I can tell it's going to be a really great game. I've also heard that the Tomb Raider game is a good filler for when you want to play a game that is somewhat like Uncharted. I haven't played a TR game since the second one came out for the original series, but I loved those first two games.

I wasn't on the PS3 back in the day. So I never played Uncharted. Looks great. Just not sure I'll buy it straight away. Might have to play the remastered collection first.

If you never played the Uncharted games, I'd highly recommend the Nathan Drake collection. Fun game play, great humor and great characters. I'd definitely play through them before starting the 4th one.

Yeah The Last of Us is phenomenal. The new gen Tomb Raider games are basically a mix between Assassin's Creed and Uncharted. The best part of the game is actually these optional tombs that you can explore and get treasure from to keep upgrading your weapons. They just have fun puzzles in them and stuff like that.

Cool, thanks for the tip. I love exploration in games, so even though that's optional, it sounds like something that's right up my alley.

Yeah it's actually the best parts of the game. In the first next gen Tomb Raider there was only like 4 of them but I think in this newest one there is like 9. If you like exploration I suppose you have to be a Zelda fan as well right? I'm a lifelong Nintendo fan.

Loved the original Zelda and I liked the 2nd one on the NES, but I've had Sega and PS systems since then, so I've never played any since the original first 2.

Man. You are missing out badly. To not have played Ocarina could justifiably be called a crime against humanity and more importantly nerd-dom in general. LOL!

Yeah, I know there are a lot of people who absolutely love that game. I'm sure I'd love it too, just never had those systems. Maybe one of these days :)

So Naughty Dog is doing a multiplayer stress test all this weekend. I've played some over the last 2 days and the game looks amazing. Lots of cools stuff in team deathmatch so far. Can't wait to play the game, although it was pushed back two weeks into May.

Anybody who is planning on getting Uncharted 4 may want to be careful reading on social media sites for the next couple of weeks. Apparently someone stole a shipment of games and has been selling them in the UK, and spoilers are bound to be posted before the game comes out:

Interesting that a game titled "A Thief's End" ends up being stolen.

I just picked up a ps4 a couple months back with the uncharted bundle. The first one is good, the 2nd is better, and the 3rd is very good.

So I'm loving Uncharted 4 so far. The story is great, and it is very fun.

The only things that I can complain about so far are that there are too many cut scenes (although they're rendered in real-time without breaking away from the loaded areas, so they're not technically cut scenes) where you are watching for long periods of time instead of actually playing, and the difficulty is more on the easy side than I like. I'm hopeful that it will increase as I keep playing (I'm currently on chapter 7).

Still, since I'm a big fan of all things Uncharted, I'm just enjoying watching another story unfold.
