watching inside the NFL highlights when the Steelers have the ball at the end of the game, Tomlin said we're going with two points if we score here

The way the Broncos were dancing and celebrating after they got the go ahead score I think Mike got a little emotional

Too bad they didn't get the chance to go for two.

Tomlin has heart and huge balls sometimes. He's a great coach man, can't fault him for everything

I thought about the 2. Not sure I would have had the balls.

It's surprising to me that Jeremy Hill was one of the Bungles to celebrate our loss on Twitter. Just shows how clueless the players on that organization really are.

This for sure. As I was watching the game I had a feeling he'd go for two if they scored.

I like that it's a week later and we're still in their head. Lets continue to own that space.

not that it matters now but in a low scoring game when your D is playing well....you would not go for the tie and win in OT? I could see if it was a hi scoring shoot and if the Broncos got the ball first in OT they'd likely get a TD to win it but it was definitely not that kind of game - on either side of the ball.

go for the points on 4 and 1 and go for the tie and win it in OT

I was thinking about that when the announcer said something about Ben hoping to force an overtime. This is why I'm not a big fan of Tomlin. That's just too big of a risk to take in a playoff game. Why risk everything on one play if you don't have to?

I said I wanted him to do that in the game day thread. Would have been exciting if we got to that point, but sadly...

I'm not sure why more teams don't go for two to win the game instead of going to OT. Your odds are actually better I think.

I bet Green Bay was wishing they went for 2 after the hail mary. They might have been playing the panthers this weekend.

I would go for 2. Do we seriously want another OT AT Denver in the playoffs? I get nightmares.

I think our defense was spent. I think he looked at his Team and knew they had very little chance of stopping them. Also you have to consider what Denver did to them the last time .. So when you add all that up then I think going for the win is a great call esp. if they had a great play waiting for that situation..

I was thinking at the end of the game that Tomlin would probably go for two. I like being gutsy, but I wouldn't have done it there. If you go for two and don't get it, you pretty much lose for sure. If you make the easy PAT, you at least have another chance to do something on the field to win. I don't think it would have been worth the risk in a playoff game at the very end.

I'm not surprised the defense was spent. Denver ran 13 more plays on offense I think it was... at altitude.

With the exception of the wild card game the Steelers have been on the losing end of possession and number of plays (which I think more important) regularly.

Honestly, I was thinking they should and I would have been fine with that deciding the game since they convert at such a high rate. Now losing because of a back-up running back when that already happened last year and you had almost 3 months to get him ready is inexcusable.

I would have been fine having them go for 2 and think it was the right move. I thought Green Bay should have went for 2 on Saturday night.

It isn't Tomlin's fault he fumbled. Toussaint has been a running back throughout college and maybe high school. He had plenty of time to learn ball security.

I have plenty of problems with Tomlin but this isn't one of them.

I would have been fine with the call to go for 2 if they had converted and I would have been furious if it failed.

Now if only they would use the 2 point play when they are down there to get 6 they might have something there....
