Playing at altitude will do that. Needed longer offensive possessions when it mattered.

Since we're going to throw blame around, I'll sound like a Patriots fan and whine about the officials. It's all their fault the Steelers lost. Peyton gave himself up, and they called it wrong. They also missed plenty of holds and Pass Interference too. If not for the officials, the Steelers win this one by 20 points.

4th and 1. We went for it. CLEAR DPI in the endzone. Not called. Lost 7 points there.

Another DPI in the endzone forcing us to kick a FG, net loss of 4.

    11 points. ;)

But as I said, in the end, we had a chance to seal a victory and failed. I'm lamenting a huge lead we could have had, but not blaming the refs necessarily... if that makes any sense. :lolol:

    Damn straight.

When we started this season, I don't think anyone seriously thought we were SB contenders.

Had we kept healthy, we could have wiped the floor with the rest of the league.

Bring on next year. Bring it the **** on.

That's their own fault for losing 2 games to the Ravens or they are the 2 seed.

I'm with you. With all the injuries I thought we may lose, but then we outplay them them for 3.5 quarters and it got my hopes up.

I feel the same. I'm proud of how well they did this season considering how bleak it looked as Ben laid on the turf in St. Louis.

Yes and they knew that, if they played it close the opposing team would implode!!! That thin cold airs no joke.

No need to throw blame around. It was a good competitive playoff game. Both teams made their mistakes.

I don't think the officials cost the Steelers the game (they didn't help) but I said during the week the Steelers would get no calls since the NFL wanted Manning - Brady and after last week, the Steelers weren't in favor in the NFL offices.

I don't either, which is burning my rear as much as us losing. I knew this would be an uphill battle for us, but regardless I want NE taken out. Given what I saw today, I'm not so sure Denver at home is better equipped to do so than we would have been on the road. Which is kinda sad if you're Denver.

Agreed. It was also refreshing after last weeks game. Maybe the league will realize that the Bengals are a bunch of dirty scumbags and handle them appropriately from now on.....wishful thinking probably. They are the reason we lost this game more than Denver.

Oh, I don't really either, they have to play the game in front of them. But it's fun to whine and moan about stuff you have no control over.

This one doesn't sting as bad as other play-off losses have. Especially last year.

I saw both DPI's Ray. Talieb had his nose in Bryants crotch and azzhole Nance or sims said great coverage. One of our guys did it and they both screaming OH HE NEVER TURNED AROUND that's PI no doubt. Like to catch them 2 in a dark ally

Nope, the league office is happy. Dirty "Stealers" got what they deserved -- a loss.
