This team has heart and loads of talent. If they can be healthy they have a whole lot less question marks this offseason than they did last year.

I've decided to not even open the negative threads, not worth my time.

A brand new secondary and a team THAT STAYS HEALTHY, can do some serious damage next year. I too am optimistic

We have a really good team. The defense even came around throughout the season. Just gotta stay healthy. Has killed us two years in a row

Yes the secondary needs to be addressed. First, Boykin should be resigned if in so he wants to be here after the way he was handled. Blake can head for his next team or wherever for that matter. Even with all the injuries they still had a chance. Next season looks promising. Onward to free agency and the Draft.

Agree- upgrade the secondary, and get healthy. The things this O is going to next year- with Bell and Pouncey back, and Sammie Coates as the 4th WR, will be magic.

I'm optimistic about next year too, but it's going to be a LONG offseason.

Lots of pieces in place for a solid next season. All signed D players should voluntarily go through tackling clinics.

Wow, there's at least a dozen negative threads.

The offense moved the ball, but without Brownand D Will it was just too much. Shame Heath didn't get involved more. Nice to see Coates and James catch passes.

Draft a safety and get Golson healthy. The lbs are starting to play well.

I will say I think Heath is very near the end. Love him but TE has to addressed... and everything else should go toward improving the D.

I'm just wondering how many playoff games we will have to lose because of a back-up running back before the coach understands how important that position is?

I like our chances but Lady Luck has to be on our side. Injuries were just awful this year.

Our pass DEF was like 30th in the NFL. Hopefully this will be the primary focus of the off-season. It's a passing league, and we couldn't stop the pass. Even Ryan Mallett lit us up.

Draft 4 DBs and maybe two will stick. And see what Senquez has to offer. Draft two more OLBs as well.

When we play the Dirty Bungles we have to set Brown, Bell or we will have the same effect.

It's been a passing league for years and hasn't been addressed so don't hold your breath. Tomlin was a DB/D coach for 8 years before joining the Steelers and can't coach these guys up to be any good or convince anybody in the organization to draft some corners.

All off seasons seem too long, but next season is bright for the Steelers according to Vegas. The have the Steelers at 10-1 to win the SB and the only team with better odds to win it all next year, according to them, are the Pats at 8-1. Of course it very early and a lot can happen but some people certainly like our chances.

They have James. Probably need a big TE to replace Spaeth.

There is so much positive coming out of this loss. This team showed more heart than I thought possible. The D stood up and played like champs but too many weapons were missing on the offense side of the ball to overcome.

Getting healthy and adding a few pieces, especially on D, and the Steelers are a force to reckon with next year. They will be a Super Bowl favorite for sure.

We had a solid back up in DWill. He got hurt. How many starting caliber RB's are we supposed to have?

Maybe we need a dedicated 3rd down back... remember how clutch Mewelde Moore and Verron Haynes was for us?

Do we have DWill locked up for another season, or was it a 1-year deal? If the latter, I'm wondering if he'll stick around. He showed this season he's still got it and can help as a starter - someone's gonna lay out the bucks for him.
