listen, I never, never want to see the steelers lose a game but I would rather lose to the broncos than the pats any day. if we were healthy and at full strength I wouldn't even consider this, but can this current team go to new England and win? sure they can but I cant stand the thoughts of the pats going to another super bowl by going thru us.

I am the only won who wont be devastated like I normally would be if we lose today?

don't get me wrong, I will be here in Dandridge, tn among all these manning fans pulling as hard as I normally do for the team I love.

I won't be as upset as I normally am at a loss but it has nothing to do with NE, just that we are so banged up, I'm not expecting a win. Hoping for it but not expecting it.

Consider this though, AB and DWill will most likely be back for the NE game should we win. NE is very beatable.

I feel ya, especially since I live in NE and get verbally abused dating back to 2001. Fortunately, I'm bigger than most so I just end up telling them to **** off.

This, kind of. I'm torn. On one hand I wont' be as bummed out because we are so banged up, but on the other hand, that kind of pisses me off even more. What if we weren't so banged up? Would we have won?

lets just avoid those thoughts altogether and pull off the upset

Sure, I'd RATHER lose to the Broncos than the Pats... But it's not going to affect the way I watch the game and cheer. It's not going to make a potential loss tonight feel any better, because you always want that chance to see what could happen if they had advanced. Pats are still really good, but not the lights-out good they had been in the past. Chiefs weren't as good as their winning streak indicated, and they still put up a hell of a fight. I'd like to see what we can do.

I want nothing more than to beat the Donkeys on their own turf with our team at about 75% and then go to Foxborough and bury Marsha on his own field. :herewego!:

The Broncos think we are just gonna walk in to their stadium during the playoffs and bow down to their defense of the regular season. This is the playoffs for God's sakes!!!! we survived the beating in at the jungle and I think the Bengals D is more physical. Screw the Broncos!!!

I wouldn't be as upset, no. But that being said, the Pats are a huge monkey on this team's back. I'd love to beat them in their own house.
If they do that and go to the Super Bowl, I pray their opponent isn't the Panthers. Running qbs give this defense fits. Always have.

I've said before the season started that the Steeler would win the SB this year and bet them to do so. No reason for me to change my opinion now.
I'm glad others have got on board. Let's get SB #7.

I actually feel better about winning going to NE with everybody healthy, than today going in with a sore Ben, no AB and DW. But let's take it one game at a time and get this win.

A live Dog is better than a dead Lion

I would rather go to New England as opposed to losing today.

Where there is life there is hope, fight to the finish.

I will NEVER be happy or ok with the Steelers losing. Next week doesn't matter, I want them to beat the piss outta the Donkeys today. Worry about the Pats later.

So as far as I'm concerned. yea, you're the only one.

WTF is going on around here?
I check in and this is the thread at the top of the list.
Let's lose to Denver so we don't have to suffer through the humiliation of a loss to the Pats?

I'll take a win over the Broncos and take our chances next week.

    SMH

What is this the Bungles board?

The objective is to win every game. To play as long as you can. Worry about next week next week, just make sure there's a next week.
