Then you have to bring in Landry. With Brown out and Ben banged up its going to take close to a miracle to win this game anyways. If Ben looks awful early, don't risk further injury. Just put in Landry and see if the improbable happens.

Steelers need to activate Vick and have all 3 QBs ready to roll.

Even with AB, there's enough talent in our offense to really tear up the Broncos defense. Our defense can contain Peyton if they and the team play for everyone that can't be there helping them. We're a hobbled team but I got faith we can pull through.. Having a next week could bring back AB and Deangelo

yup if we can muster a win we would look good next week barring a Ben injury. If Denver comes out and scores right away it's game over

Well it is win or go home. Ben has always put the team 1st. I think in Ben's mind he will go till he can't. His mind works like, we win we go on, we lose we go home. I get hurt. I got till September to heal. That is typical Ben and why we all love him

Yup. No need to risk a reduced offseason and long-term damage if he can't make the throws and is playing with a shredded shoulder. Turn the keys over to Landry and let him try to feed the beasts.

There is basically zero pressure to win this so I wouldn't be surprised if Landry comes in and slings a 400+ game.

Landry Jones would do OK if he wouldn't try to force throws into double coverage. If he has to play... he should play Brady-ball. Dink and dump off to Toussaint, Todman, Miller and Jesse James.

Denver will bring the pass rush... so Brady-ball would be ideal for Jones.

You have to put in Landry Jones. The writing is on the wall with AB being ruled out. Remember Landry Jones has a really good connection with Bryant and those guys because that's who he got most the reps with. I still got faith in Landry Jones. I hope he's preparing because I know he can do this if his # is called.

Possibly insert Landry, but I don't trust him throwing against the Broncos. I would almost rather want to see Vick run a run oriented offense, with him being a running option as well as the running backs. I dont trust Vick throwing though, unless it was a deep bomb at the end of the game.

Manning with 17 interceptions this year, threw 9 passes the last game with 4 incompletes, and now he has sat out another week getting rusty. I like our chances if we run the ball 25+ times.

I think the back up plan would be William Gay making a pick 6. Or two.

Our defense was firing last game, until they sat them in prevent. They can play. They can upset offenses. All we need the offense to do is to put up a touchdown or two. Landry Jones has shown he can do that.

He didn't look great against the Bengals, but let's not forget a) it was raining pretty heavily (as AJ McCarron pointed out in such a dignified manner), and b) Haley was calling the worst situational plays ever at that point. It will be a different story if LJ has to play the Broncos.

I don't understand all of the doom and gloom with the poll above. History has shown the Steelers play their best when they have little or no chance to win. I like our chances and I believe the Steelers are gonna shock the world.

The loss of Brown sucks yes...for him. But I never said his playing or not playing would be the factor. The factor still is how aggressive we are against stopping the Broncos Run game, and how we pressure Manning. As well as how effective we can be using a short area offensive attack against the fast Broncos defense.

I would go with Murphy at Wildcat and try and win with a College style Offense zone read, end arounds, screens, swing passes , TE dumps, jump passes , QB sweeps , QB draws , QB Power .. Yep probably wouldn't work , but I would trust that more than Jones , at least they are high percentage plays with lower risk..

If we had Bell, we would be ok w/o AB. Without both of them (and an injured Big Ben), I am hoping for a miracle. Anything can happen, but...

I'd trust Jones blindfolded before trying to revamp our offense in 2 days.
