Certainly sucks, but this is the BIG benefit of getting that 1st round bye. If the Steelers don't play last weekend, both Ben and AB are 100%. The difference between the 6 seed and the 2 seed was the 2 Ravens losses.

That's why losing meaningless regular season games as some said with that week 16 loss supposedly was actually does matter.

See this type of thing is what sets AB apart from other players, what makes him elite. While other guys would get lazy after faking the injury and be up and bouncing about when they get the flag that's not our boy. He sells it hard. Who is our PR now?

 

That will be a critical role for sure. I'd be happy with someone who can cleanly field the ball every time. Just FC the thing. I don't envision their offense running amok so I can see whoever our PR is will be getting a lot of work, as will theirs.

Maybe Willie Gay or Will Allen. Not sure of anyone on our roster who has experience other than AB.

 

We still have the best receiver core (and depth) in the league: Heyward, Jessie James, etc... would be starters on other teams. As long as Ben is alright, we still have a chance.

 

Thats what Im afraid of. More so than Brown being out.

 

This what the consequences are when we sign a guy like Michael Vick. His career was over a few years ago.
