Wishful thinking? The "updates" this week feel odd

    Landry has shown he can lead this team, can make all the throws and doesnt get rattled.

    B&G isnt saying he is capable of putting the team on his shoulders, just that he is capable of leading the team to victory and I agree, but it would be a team effort, defense will need to play like it did last week, TNT will need to produce again, Wheaton stepping up would be a big help.

    I'm not going to dismiss him because he was picked off in bad weather conditions against a good defense that was revved up.

    I really don't think Jones would fare well against that defense in Denver.

    Yeah,um, theres no way i see Jones going into Denver and leaving with a win ..With or without Brown..
    Like said ,this is playoff football ,a whole new level of intensity and schemes that would make his head spin ..

    It hurts, it does. But back in Sept/Oct Vick didn't know the playbook. He should know it now. That, and what has Jones shown other than the game against the Cardinals? Not much if you ask me. Sure does seem like what he is capable of is completions to the other team.

    Vick knew the playbook while with the Jets, he still sucked. He hasn't played well since 2011, its not the playbook.

    I'll roll with Landry and so will the Steelers.

    Landry Jones needs to just be a game manager if he plays. TnT and the o-line need to have a big game. If Jones knows his checkdowns and doesn't throw into double coverage we may be able to hang in there. Control the clock. If the game plan is to throw like Ben is still in there, it could get nasty. Jones didn't have much consistency with AB, so if AB doesn't play, it may keep Jones from pressing too much imo.

    For Denver, Osweiler may be hurt as well. I could be wrong, thought I saw him on the injury report, but don't know the seriousness. If Osweiler can't go, does that put more pressure on Peyton to bring it home?
