    Couple of thoughts...

I feel really really bad for Jeremy Hill

And I absolutely cannot stand that cheerleading douche, Dave Lampham (their radio guy). He's the toolbag cheering like a giddy school girl at the Burfict interception and he's overly cheery and giddy like that all of the time. Your job is to announce the game, douchebag. Not be an extra cheerleader on the radio.

I can honestly say that I have no sympathy for Jeremy Hill. Maybe that makes me a bad guy? LOL! It's like Jim Halpert said when he found out that Pam's parents were getting divorced. "50% of marriages end in divorce. So...it was either her parents or my parents..."

I have no sympathy for Jeremy Hill whatsoever. Do a little homework on him. He's a punk thug too who was trying to pick a fight earlier in the game when Shazier knocked Bernard out. Little did he know that Shazier had a little something for him later in the game.

AHHHHHH YEEEEEEAH!!!! I was waving at my computer screen as the bungles cried their way to the locker room. I hope this loss starts another cincy decline. They deserve it greatly.

He was the only one to compose himself like a professional in his post game interview though and didn't cry like a *****, took the blame.

I didn't see him trying to start a fight but really can't blame him for that, you were champion Wallace for the same thing, Hill saw his teammate get cleaned up. And don't tell me you wouldn't have been raging against the Bengals if they did that to Fitz :lolol:

Does he have any history? I'm not really familiar with his past behavior.

I'd feel bad about Jeremy Hill if it were against any other team except ours. He has a history of fumbling so Marvin should have sent him out there with a strong message of having both hands wrapped around the ball and to make sure he secures it all the way to the ground. Instead he carried it as if it were early in the game and just an ordinary running play rather than the game being on the line. I'm sure he's spent many sleepless nights wondering why he didn't do that.

I actually like Dave Lampham. Sure he's a Bengal homer but he's not a national announcer so if he cheerleads then I have nothing against that. Every local sports announcer does that. Myron Cope was the biggest Steelers cheerleader there ever was when he was broadcasting games.

Character issues in college. The carnal knowledge of a minor charge stemmed from Hill compelling a 14 year old girl to give him and a friend oral sex. The Bengals really know how to pick 'em don't they?

No that's hid job. He's "their" radio guy. Just like Cope was for the Steelers. The hometown wants a guy rooting for the hometown team. Makes them feel like it's them in the booth.

Burfict is an idiot. You had him on tape saying Joey porter came in and "pushed" them and all the coaches asking why he's on the field while they're on the field! The tape doesn't lie! Joey P. pushed no one! Little children playing a grown man's game!

Wait you mean the same people calling Ben a rapist have a guy that made a minor perform sexual acts with them? Say it isn't so!

Judging from the Bengal fans reaction to him on their boards, they didn't seem surprised that he'd messed up... and the words 'maturity' and 'lack of' were being used a lot.

That said, I agree that he was the only one to step up and shoulder the blame.

Incidentally, did anyone else notice that as the ball was snapped for Boswell's winning FG, Marvin Lewis runs out on to the field waving his arms...?

When the ball is still in play...?

I saw that. Was he trying to call a timeout or something or just trying to distract Boswell?

Either a) he was trying to mess up his peripheral vision. I used to do a similar thing when I played darts - doing a sudden movement in the corner of their eye.

Or b) he was trying to make out to the refs there had been a false start or something.

Either way, as every Cincinnati fan will tell you - a coach shouldn't be out on the field...

I didn't see it, but if he was really in Boswell's peripheral vision, then I'm quite positive he was trying to distract Boswell, under the guise of calling timeout.

Correction: a coach shouldn't be out on the field during an injury timeout. If he is, then it's his fault if three members of the opposing team make physical contact with him, two of whom did it violently.

If it's during a play, and especially during the game winning field goal, it's perfectly fine for the coach to run out onto the field waving and screaming. So long as it's their coach.
