Depending on the severity players can be out for up to a month, as severe as ABs head was hit he wont clear protocol for at least 2-3 weeks in my estimation, forget about him starting sunday because it ain't gonna happen......

That is absolutely not true at all. For those of you who want the TRUTH of the process....here it is.

I'm not a liar stud, you can cherry pick articles all you want but AB wont be playing sunday whether you want to believe it or not, I can put another article up here that says since they have added new protocols players are out longer periods of time, here is a snipit from a USA concussion article:

NFL players who suffered concussions last season spent an average of 16 days off the field, a significant increase from previous years, according to new injury data from 2012.

Well lets see...how about this ......

" as severe as ABs head was hit he wont clear protocol for at least 2-3 weeks in my estimation, forget about him starting sunday because it ain't gonna happen...... "

It Ain't gonna happen ??? Ah, is this guy Antonio's Doctor ?....The Link I posted said nothing regarding what he is saying. And ANY Concussion website will tell you that any Grade-1 or even a Grade-2 Concussion is not serious for someone who has not suffered repeated past Concussions..( Like Troy P had )....and since we all KNOW that Antonio did not suffer a Grade-3 concussion ( That would mean he would have to have been totally Unconsious for 30 minutes )...then that proves his statement is false.

I get it...you disagree. He said it was his opinion. Nothing you posted makes it "absolutely untrue" or PROVES it false.

Sam Shields certainly wasn't on the field unconscious for 30 minutes during week 14 and he still hasn't cleared protocol.

Dude you need to learn how to read. Seriously. I mean plain english he said NO WAY NO HOW AB is gonna play. That IS not an opinion...he said it as FACT. And the dude is not a Doctor, or has ever even met a football player who has had concussions....I have. Many of them including Troy P who I know very well. Look, maybe Antonio doesn't play. But at this point in time for anyone to say anything definitively is just stupid.

Glad to hear it. Then you know when he wrote what he said that it was not said as his opinion, cause when you write that AB is NOT in any way going to play, that is being said as a fact. Look, I know I am not a Doctor...so unlike our friend here...I will wait for the official word.

It was his opinion. Either way, waiting for the official word is a good plan.

Here's a paragraph from Dale Lolley's blog on AB... For what it's worth.

And despite national reports, the Steelers expect Antonio Brown to be fine as well. Concussions are tough to judge and some linger longer than others, but everything I'm hearing is that Brown will get through concussion protocol quickly.

Why are we arguing about semantics and context? He stated his opinion and in his OPINION said there is no way Brown plays. Just because someone reads it as stating a fact doesn't change that he made it clear that it was his opinion.

But enough of this, we have a common enemy and they aren't fellow Steelers fans.

I believe this is his first concussion. add the fact that He wasn't out that long I would say there is a good chance he returns.

I really hope we will have AB and a nearly healthy Big Ben this Sunday, but it seems unlikely. I am not sure if an injured Big Ben, limited to short passes, will be our best option, although the alternative is not good either. I will be pulling for the Steelers, but it will take a heroic defensive effort and a couple huge offensive plays to win. If the Steelers can pickup some CB/Safety help in the first two picks of the draft, avoid injuries to Bell, Bown and Ben, they have huge potential next year. I am predicting a close loss to Denver Sunday and a Steelers Super Bowl victory next year. Also, I am predicting a big victory for KC over the cheatriots.

He also said his energy is back up and he's feeling better. We'll see how he feels after practicing (assuming he does tomorrow), but this is certainly promising.

He's never gonna be ready, if his current mental status can be judged by his choosing to wear that shirt.

    But seriously, AB looks glassy-eyed.
