Do we have enough to to get a win next week or will the injuries be too much to overcome?

Manning could throw 3 or 4 picks, Steelers could play the same defense they did in the second half of the first game against the Broncos, one of our young RBs could break a long one, etc. Stranger things have happened. I like our chances.

Even if we are limping, at least we are on to Denver. Anything can happen once there.

With the way Ben has been playing the last few weeks I'm more than a little concerned about our chances now that he's injured

We've pretty much limped into most of our games this year. Seems like we had some type of injury or other drama every week.

I'm not too confident with all the injuries but you never know. I can take a loss in Denver a LOT easier than the friggin' Bungles.

Defense and OL are healthy, so there's a chance

It's a winnable game, but Ben will need to bring his A game

It has been a long off season, pre season, regular season and one playoff game. The Steelers only need to win 3 more games to capture SB 7. Lot of strange things happened, but the Steelers are very close to winning it all. I am thinking that it doesn't matter what occurs during the next 3 games because the Steelers are just simply going to overcome everything and win out and take #7 home.

I say we lose but I usually do lol. I don't mind losing to the forehead and I'm proud of this team. Lot of adversity

If our defense flies to the ball and blasts them, the way we did against the bungholes and our offensive line creates huge holes the way they did against the bungholes then we will be in this game. I think the bungholes have a better defense than the broncos. I think Shazier is the game changing defensive player we've been missing since Troy.

It's better than limping home from Cincy. We've battled all year, no reason to believe we won't be ready to go against Denver.

We're banged up and many times after such an emotional and gut wrenching game teams have a letdown. But it's win or go home. That's an easy decision isn't it? We w this and then go on to Kansas City for the AFC Championship game! :towel:

Depends on who plays but I like the Steelers chances and injuries are no excuse. Every team has injuries.

Landry Jones need to get a lot of reps, at least over 85% of them. We can't expect Ben to play well with a separated shoulder. Against a defense like Denver, if you can't throw the ball over 15 yards, your basically useless...

Can you imagine how ugly the game can get for us if Ben & Antonio can't play?? You just know Denver is wishing for it..

Maybe we can develop a game plan for Ben like the last drive had. Short dropbacks, and get rid of the ball right away. Longest attempts would be to Heath for around 7 yards.

Power run game, throw in a few gadget plays?

Isn't Williams supposed to be back next week? That will help the running and short passing game big time!!!

IMHO, a decent show of the running game will be key and the defense taking it to Manning just like in Indy in '05. Rattle him and the dead ducks are up for grabs. We need to tip the balance somehow. A weakened throwing game, assuming Ben is still not 100%, requires an extraordinary effort from the rest of the team. We can do it!

I see it going two ways. Rest heading into the playoffs is what Peyton always needed and he torches our secondary or Peyton seems like a man of repetition so not playing all those weeks and having 1st round bye could hurt him. I did notice even when Peyton came in to finish the game two weeks ago.. They relied a lot on the running game so I think if the Steelers can stop the run like they did last weekend and make them one dimensional/Peyton have to throw the ball. They stand a chance.
