A couple reports coming out say that Ben has an AC joint sprain. Assuming it's not too severe, I assume he'll miss some practice time this week, but will play in Denver.

A lot will depend on what grade it is. I see Blake Bortles had a grade 1 (lowest/least severe rating) AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder. He played the next week and threw for 331 and 3 TDs. So there is hope!

I don't doubt he plays... The question is, how effective will he be against that really good defense? He hasn't exactly been playing the best football of his career over the past three weeks.. And now he's banged up.

I had one of those in the 90s and couldn't do **** for a month, but I obliterated my AC joint. Hopefully his isn't too bad.

Ben still needs to be out there practicing, just run different drills. He obviously can't be throwing all week long, but he can do other things. He needs the work, because he hasn't been playing very good lately

That's what happens when a thug drives his knee into a QBs shoulder when he's on his back on the ground. I still can't believe they allowed that idiot to stay in the game.

Ed Bouchette just tweeted that Ben had an MRI and he is listed as day to day. Said his shoulder is "sore."

This might actually be good, they may be forced to go back to the short passing attack. I like what I saw from Toussaint, good hands, can be effective there.

They have been airing it out far too much.

When Ben gets old...I just hope he doesn't end up in a wheelchair. He has endured so much pain and injury.

That's a good point. Also may have them go into the bag of tricks and have AB throw a pass on some short of double pass or reverse.

Not good. Didn't he have a similar injury in 2012 and miss some time?

But maybe it's not as severe. Let's hope. Need #7 if we hope to beat the Broncos.

It didn't help when Jerkfest rammed his knee into Ben's shoulder after he slammed him.

Ben plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, not the NY Giants. So it's gonna take more than a toothache (separated shoulders) to keep him out. He's a wolverine.

No, that pushed it back in, allowing Ben to return to beat them.
