Yes, one factor will not be enough to win this one (or any game). But, if you can single out one factor to beat CIN, which is it?

    If other, please elaborate.

I didn't see, win the turn over battle.

Actually, many of those keys were met in the Seattle game. And we lost. Turnover battle has to be in the Steelers' favor.

Given our past matchups this year...I think it's going to come down to a few different battles:

    Offensively:
    - Give Ben time in the pocket
    - Don't turn the ball over
    - Score TD's , NOT FG's.
***** Get an early lead and force their offense to play one dimensional. If this happens we run away with this game.

    Defensively:
    - don't give up big plays
    - control their run game
    - pressure the QB

As usual I said no dumb mistakes (includes coaches ). I'm really concerned about Ben forcing the ball down field into the teeth of their cover 2 shell while someone is open underneath.

I'm no expert here...that's for sure. But in my opinion, the KEY to winning this Wild card game today will be....US having more points then THEM after the game ends. But I could be wrong. :roflmao:

Young QB in a big spot......PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE! I think there is a lot of little keys to this game, Ben playing good....Heath getting involved early and often.....our secondary playing good.....but none bigger then hitting this young QB. If we can get to him game over, jmo!

I tend to agree, but let's remember this guy played 2 national title games @ Bama. Yes, different situations, some years ago, but still he's had pressure under his shoulders and handled it properly. Hope today we see a different story.

The last time the Steelers played a young, first time QB in his first playoff game was " Tim Tbebow "...and he too also had NCAA Championship game experience...like Mccarron has...Hmmm!

Pressure. Give AJ time to throw, and it will be a long night. Make him rush his throws, and he'll make rookie mistakes. This isn't college, he'll throw a pick or two.

I said "other". Heath Miller had big games twice against them this year. With Ben's confidence maybe a little shaky, what better way to get him going than throwing to the best tight end on the planet. Let Miller do some damage and see if that opens up other opportunities.

    HHHHeeeeaaaattttthhhhhh!!!!

Ryan Mundy and Ike aren't playing tonight so maybe that'll help?

Pressure All day on the qb and get off the field...especially on 3rd and long!

    Keep Blake off the field

Ben spread the ball around and don't force it to brown.

Get heath and Jessie in the game early

Screw the cover2....go back to the basics

Well I agree he has played in big spots but he was the starting qb and things were flowing for him, now it is different. He is the starting qb only cause of injury so I think the pressure is bigger now and I hope he cracks......put pressure on him and we will find out!!!!
