its going to be an intense day tomorrow, i almost dont want to watch tv! i have to root for a team i just abandoned and hope that some journeyman QB doesn't shred our secondary...

 

I could see the latter happening, but I suspect it will play out like the Cheifs game a while ago - we'll dispatch them in an uninteresting game, whereas the Jets-Bills games will give us false hope by being close, and then some inexplicable play call will let the Jets win.

generally the bills will be up 10-0 then completely collapse when its needed and lose, but who knows, i hate divisional games.

 

I have liked Rex as a coach, I have many Jet and Bills friend fans and have gone back and forth with then on Rex. The one thing I will say is you can bet you bottom dollar that Rex will do what it takes to win this game no matter what. If the Jets win so be it even if the Bills players lay down I don't care. We beat Cinny and Denver back to back and we could beat a Gayven team that was missing half their starters....if not more! We have our own team to blame bottom line we could have taken care of business and we didn't........this is very typical of the team under MT!!!!!!!!

This is a really odd occurrence. I'm thinking back to over 40+ years of watching pro football and can't remember too many times (ever?) teams announcing to their Head Coach *before* the regular season ends - "Hey, guess what? You're gone next season! Now get out there and win us a game, champ!"
