On the local news here in PA, people were actually saying that the Patriots lost on purpose so we wouldn't get into the playoffs. Lol.

Yeah and the Steelers didn't play Boykin early in the season so they wouldn't have to give up a 4th round draft pick.

Why not, Steelers own Brady and the Pats!

Yeah but it takes Blake to have an *injury* to leave the game...

That's exactly what happened. Would you rather see the Jets or Steelers in the playoffs?

We did better after Blake was gone and every stat in the world shows us better without Blake. Maybe the injury was phantom because Tomlin is to damn suborn.

Jets are proving they are the better team and deserving of a playoff spot. They have a much better D, a good running game and Decker and Marshall are having huge years.

It doesn't matter. Until we get a better CB, a Safety and a decent pass rush we're going to be inconsistent.

Oddly, That was really one of my first thoughts but with the way the Steelers played today, who wouldn't want to face them in the post season?

Taking the ball out of Bradys hands and choosing to kick in OT is all the proof I need.

They have a better secondary! But, then again, who doesn't?

I will agree to that. I also think we are better off with Golden in than Allen.

How is that silly? This is the same coach that will let teams score so they can let Brady get the last possession and decide the game. But takes the ball out of his hands against the Jets in OT? Never happens in a game that matters and you are silly if you think so.

Allen was a good signing for depth. We all thought S. Thomas was going to be a good starter this season. Golden has played decent when called on, but he's not the answer IMO

Some people have made this claim, because of the idea that they didn't want to face the Steelers in the Playoffs. These were non Steeler fans who were saying this.

I don't know about this, but I do know there is no excuse for us losing.

I also think people are being way to hard on Ben, without him, we would suck.
Without Tomlin, we would of already clinched a spot. Didn't Tomlin go for it again while in FG position and we failed. How many times has he cost us a chance at a win this season?

I've actually always believed kicking was the better option. A team scoring a TD on their first drive is quite rare. If you prevent that, then you have the upper hand.

It's possible but even if he did he will never admit it. One more reason why I hope we do get in and beat the Pats in the playoffs especially since we helped get them a bye the last two weeks by beating both Cincy and Denver.

No Golden is not the answer, but in the now, he may be the better answer. Allen was fooled several times today and can not tackle!

First off these conspiracy theories are silly. Seen teams defer plenty of times in OT. Also it appears that the player screwed up when saying they wanted to give the ball to the jets.

Makes you wonder. Who elects to kick in OT? I could see Tomlin making this mistake but not Belicheat.

Also I swear I saw somewhere in the past few days that they were relying on Shazier to be a main communicator. If that report is true, then I am dumbfounded.
