Dude has been money and I'm hoping he stays around for awhile. He has a huge leg.

I like what he has done and now see him as a humble kid. I like it!

Every quote I've read by him points to a guy with a great attitude. Really love the signing. It sucks for Suisham, but such is life in the NFL.

Yeah Suisham has proven reliable and he will definitely land somewhere else. Boswell is a must have for us since he's so young and is only going to get better. A strong leg is something we've not had in a while. Also the footnotes at the end of that story said that Deangelo is battling an illness. That is lame. I hope he's 100% for this game. We're gonna need all the help we can get against this stout d.

I missed that about Deangelo. This should be a tough test for us and potentially not having him at 100% will hurt.

Boz needs to pass one more test, the playoffs. He passes that, Suisham, is as good as gone.

Yep - less so in the running game, as we can pass it 70% of the time now. It's as a blocker/receiving threat that he's most needed against Denver.

Before we crown him, let's see what he does in cold weather and the playoffs (if we are in them).

I feel like Suisham needs to be upgraded. He is reliable within 43 yards but struggles with longer kicks.

Suisham's poor leg strength has forced Tomlin into making some really dumb decisions.

Suisham been great for us and he may lose his job but, let's see if he stays or goes. If he does go, lets let him go gently. He had a great few years here and may have more. We'll see. I like both these guys

How many 50+ yard FGs did Suisham kick at Heinz? Boswell has two that would have been good from 60. Plus he's been deadly accurate! Bye bye, Shawn.

Yeah I think we have found our good young kicked. That game winner would have been good from 60. Nerves of steal.

I thought it was a brilliant call by Tomlin to kick the FG after back to back penalties. The Boz nailed it too.

Yeah, a no-brainer for sure. Out of timeouts, :18 left on the clock, and the way that things had transpired so far in this game - if he hadn't gone for the FG on first down I would've been screaming at the TV.

Got to give the kid his do. What's forgotten sometimes is I like his kickoffs, most of them are not returned. That's such a big advantage. :clapping:

I agree 100%. Suisham forces Tomlin to do crazy things. Having to go for it on 4th because Suisham's effective range is 43 in is not acceptable.

Suisham is money at the short stuff but can't hit the long ones.

Also touchbacks are nice to finally have. Our special teams are so so.
