Burfict is a multi time offender. I really don't see how it's 'very different'. Sure, his offenses may be different and more varied, but it certainly shows a pattern of a dirty player.

Has anyone ever had 3 fines from one game before?

I was flipping through the radio stations this morning and ended up listening to Rome (gag) in time to hear Boomer Esiason say that even he thinks Burfict should be suspended for two games!

Well that looks like a clean block to me. Funny how the bungle fans and raven Gans always pick and choose to show only what appears to be illegal plays. Damn, you swear they were the same fans

Heck, they still complain that Hines was dirty as hell. Every time they show that huge Crack back block, they fail to remember that it was LEGAL for a receiver to do so back then. Then they changed the rule (because of him)

Yes, it was a clean block attempt. The reason he ended up low after initial contact was that Burfict started sliding away at about the same time that contact was initiated. The one single frame that Bengals fans cite makes it look bad, but neither player did anything wrong on that play. Spaeth went in at hip level and Burfict's attempt to shed the block and flow to the ball just happened to result in Spaeth sliding down his leg in a slightly awkward manner.

More from Boomer: "I didn't see the other two [Burfict infractions], but I did see the one in which he dove to the back of Ben Roethlisberger’s legs. My own personal opinion is that Vontaze Burfict should be suspended for at least two games," Esiason said. "This guy has a history, there are issues with him. One of the reasons why he fell in the draft was because teams knew there was going to be issues with him, and when you do that on the field of play, where you legitimately try to hurt an opposing teams quarterback, and you know I'm a former Cincinnati Bengal, but that doesn't mean I'm asking for guys to do stupid things on the field to hurt another player."

Here's the thing other teams(BUNHOLES) can piss and moan all they want but watch how much Ben gets hit and very rarely does anyone get flagged never mind fined. Just this year we are starting to get the calls and they are few and far between.

I'm not the last guy to call for a player to be suspended.

Shaner82 is the last guy to call for a player to be suspended.

Burfict literally applied an ankle lock to Cam Newton last season. That is one of the dirtiest plays ever. He clearly has shown a precedent of attempting to destroy opposing players knees/ankles.

It is a joke that he was not suspended for his clear attempts to potentially injure star quarterbacks while players like Josh Gordon get lifetime bans for smoking marijuana off the field.

Antonio Brown got flagged for a "crack back block" on an off-tackle run play that was actually a chop block.

The whole point of the crack back being dangerous is that the player being blocked is blindsided as on a reverse, special teams or change of possession play.

Another terrible call by the increasingly soft NFL.

Meanwhile Burfict is doing his Bill Goldberg spear impression on Ben's ankle... no flag.

And his man (#58) meets Williams at about the goal line.
