I do think he slipped, although he still went in at the knees. I just don't think he came around the edge and purposely decided to go low instead of going high. I think he slipped, and in order to still attempt to make a play, he went in low, which was the only possible thing he could do based on his angle. That's what it looks like to me in the video. Dangerous play by him, but I just didn't see an intent to injure or any intention to be dirty. It sure looks to me like his inside foot slipped just as he got around the edge.

 

What makes this fact annoying is that season when JH got fined a few times during the season (not one game) and was threatened with suspension if he did something to earn a fine again. Yet, this toolbag gets fined 3 times IN ONE GAME and nothing is done to get him off the field?

Speaks volumes of the league's management.

 

I pulled this quote from the other thread in which Ben called Burfict out on his radio show...

If Burfict did accidentally get pushed into Ben, why did he say, "my bad?" Seems like an excuse by Burfict to me, and I think he knew exactly what he was doing.

So he was fined for three plays. That's great! However, I feel he should have been suspended. These guys make so much money that this is probably just a drop in a hat for him. Take away his playing time and absence from the field, however, and maybe he will eventually learn his lesson.

Oh, who am I trying to kid? Burfict is a POS and will never learn his lesson as long as the Bengals, their fans, and the League condone his behavior.

 

Too bad Hines wasn't still playing. He would have broken that clown's jaw.

 

Thank goodness the league fined him, I thought I was gonna have to mail him the fine.

He got fined 3 times in one game. What does that tell you? That he should've been ejected

 

He's a classless POS just like Bengal fans. On their forums they all wish for steeler injuries. One even has Bell holding his knee as his profile pic. That organization is just bitter cause they haven't done squat. Oh, and we are the dirty ones lol

 

On one of the Bengals forums, someone had posted a picture of miller, or spaeth, can't remember which, pretty much tackling burfict on a low hit. There might have been some attempt at a little payback. I just never saw this until I went to check out their forum page. They claimed it is the reason burfict was so angry. Whatever

I just read that the total fines equal $70,000.00! Maybe he can get his teammates to push him into the bank!

Wasn't Harrison threatened with a suspension a few years back, when he had 3 fines in a season? This jackass gets 3 in a game and I see no mention of a suspension.

 

I guess the argument would be that accrued fines over a period of several games shows a different response than one "off" game.

Which would be a rubbish argument, but might be the one they use.

 

The difference was Harrison's flags were blows to the head during the era of player safety. Plus, Harrison responded by saying he wouldn't piss on Goodell if he was on fire. Very different situation

If you google burfict fines he has a ton of fines for loads of dirty stuff like twisting cam newtons ankle and someone elses too, he's the dirtiest player in the nfl
