It's astonishing, really. I only tried reading the first message board link, but it was just disturbing. The combination of raw hate, jealously and low IQs is a volatile mix.

It won't happen BFT and I wonder if it's a good idea coming down on low pay grade officials.. You want to piss em off they can make a difference in the outcomes of games. I totally get what your saying I just think it's a bad idea. It's the NFLs problem and they need to clean it up and take action. Not the coaches. If the NFL does not take care of business then the coaches and owners need to approach the commish.

Love this quote from the bengals board "The biggest perpetrators are generally the biggest whiners. Bullies hate to be bullied.

Steelers were bullied? Looked to me like there were bodies from the bungles everywhere. Looked like they got pushed around all day which is clearly why they had to fight and try to change the game to a street brawl lol

This POS was acting the fool all damn game and committed multiple acts that should have been Personal Fouls, but didn't get flagged. Now they review something that's painfully obvious a foul by the rules regardless if that little push by his teammate helped him go low. He was going low the whole way! Look where his eyes were and where he was driving his body! The rules state blocked or fouled into a player, Not "a push by your own player" which isn't a foul.

Is anyone going to be fined for fouling Ben? Is this the leagues way of getting him to retire early?

In the next game, Heyward should make sure he has a hand on Harrison's shoulder, so when James rips off both the quarterback's arms and beats him with the bloody stumps, it will be an accident.

Roger baddell should've consider the pregame skirmish and burfict constant dirty play throughout the game. If it was James Harrison or anyone in black and gold...they would've been fined

I tried reading the responses and they're just straight hate.

They've taken it to new levels. Apparently, the Bengals are the class of the division and the Steelers/fans are really up set and jealous of them. When they win the division it will be 4 of 5.
Somehow there was a perception from the Bengals players that they were not going to call PF's on the Steelers? Was that after they called 3 in the first half? I must have missed that.

If we have to play them in the playoffs..I HOPE we bring back Hines Ward for that ONE GAME...and just say " SICK EM HINES " when it comes to Burfict. That is what I want.

Come on guys we're better than Bungholio fans, Burfict was pushed by Carlos Dunlap. I know this isn't going to fly well here, but it's the truth.

You obviously haven't seen the video. Nothing could not look more clear. Burfict dove right at Bens ankles.

Bobby is right this is an Xmen manuvuer known as the fastball special. Made famous by Colossus throwing Wolverine at an opponent, there is also the Storm variant as well as the jumbo fastball special where Logan throws Colossus. In this case Burfy says Carlos fastball special and Carlos then throws/pushes Burfy at Ben's knee.

So I guess anything goes as long as one of your own guys pushes you.....Steelers need to remember that one. What a joke ,his intent was perfectly clear. So the push made him change direction...lol.

You're saying the reason Burfict hit Ben low is because he was pushed? Here's a gif from the coach's film. Dunlap must be a freak of nature to send him flying like that. Left handed. While being held back by a 330+lb tackle. :lolol:

You could probably post a video taken from the Apollo-Soyuz and it would probably show something completely different.:lolol:

The gif that I posted is a closer perspective therefore a much better indicator of what happened. Look at it. You can clearly see Dunlap giving him a pretty good shove causing him to fall. You can also see that Dunlap was not being held back at all and had beaten Gilbert on that play. He had pretty good momentum going in the same direction as Burfict and it would be pretty easy for Dunlap to shove him down and not require him to be a freak of nature.

Was it a missed penalty? Yes. A finable offense? No.

It is what it is and unfortunately it's not what we wanted to see, but it's the correct decision.

Let's not stoop to Cincinnati Bunghole fan level and be like them when Kimo hit Palmer and start making stuff up when the (correct) outcome is not what we want.

I can't say what the intent was. No one can. Maybe forcing him down on Roethlisberger was the intent. Maybe not. All we can go on is what is on the video. Take a look at both gif's posted above and it's pretty clear that he's shoved and it causes him to fall.

Hardly a shove, pretty much just had his hand laying on his back. Unless he is bionic, that "shove" didn't propel him into Ben.

Luckily Ben avoided injury this time.
