Time to make Dalton look like the Red Ryder again.

My biggest concern this game is who will those cheap shot bastards take out next.

I think we win but not by double digits.

I live in Cincinnati and on the way home from work they were saying the same thing about the Steelers.

Said the Ken Anderson facemask back in 1983 by Gary was cheap. Brutal and I agree it was cheap but at the time plays like that were going on all the time but not to that extent of turning the guys helmet around on his head.

Said the Kimo Von Olhauffen hit on Palmer was cheap. They will always cry about it but I say he was pushed down into his knee and his momentum on the hit shredded his knee. Was unfortunate but not cheap. I have argued this one til I've been blue in the teeth and still argue it every year.

Said Hines Ward hit on Kieth Rivers was dirty. Broken jaw, missing teeth. I was at that game and seen it live. Clean block all the way at the time but then made the Hines Ward rule about hitting a defenseless player. Can't believe they're still crying about that one although it did essentially end his career. Could not play the game the same after that.

Said the Kieth Huber blind side hit from Garvin was dirty. Broken neck, broken jaw.

Said the Hit on LeVeon Bell by Burfict this season was clean. I agree. Very unfortunate but clean. It sucks but it happens. I don't know if Burfict celebrated or not like some Steelers pllayers claim or if he heard a pop and got the heck out of there. Nobody knows for sure but Burfect himself.

I can say though that if the Steelers concentrate on paying him back then we will be in for a long ugly loss. Steelers just need to go out there and play Steeler smash mouth football and let the chips fall where they may.

I just can't find an egg bagel anywhere, but there was a shop in the train station that had delicious Honey Brown Sugar ones......MMMMMMMM!

The Bengals have lots of talent, This will require the Steelers
to bring their (A) game. No boneheaded/ turnover mistakes this week.

We will also need the coaches to make no boneheaded mistakes.

To be fair... I have a few friends that find the Kimo hit as dirty and I can honestly say that I no longer believe he was just "pushed down into his knee" why? Because they always show me this... The picture clearly shows his arm around palmers leg. How does that happen if he is pushed into it? Kimo felt awful about the play though so I don't think it was malicious. He was just playing the game...

Fast forward to the Rams game this year though and I chalked Barron's hit on Ben as a similar thing, but then I swear every week the Rams are in the headlines with something dirty so the extent that Zimmer from the Vikings called them out. Maybe dirty is overused too much and "cheap" should be used more often?

That pic that you provided is nasty but the hit wasn't intentional. The blocker wiffed on the block and then extended his arms in the backside of Von Olhoffen. Kimo was already in full momentum towards the QB. This pic (although not as clear as yours) shows Palmers leg already fully planted into the ground with Carson leaning back towards Kimo before he even was touched.

It was a very unfortunate play but not intentional or dirty. Aggressive first series of a playoff game. Had it happened in preseason I would consider it dirty. Playoffs, no. JMHO.

Would wrapping the arm around the leg made the tackle worse, necessarily? Genuine question.

My view was that it was a momentum tackle, but he's going for a sack anyway. Unfortunate, but not dirty.

I don't care if Kimos hit was dirty, no Bangle is in danger of being taken out by Kimo on Sunday. Last I checked, there are 2 bangles on the roster responsible for ending Bells season, twice.

If Ben stays clean they will get blown up. Our offense can be unstoppable when it clicks. We got this.
