Jones needs to summit his resignation and apology for wearing a Steelers uniform. He also needs to return all monies rendered to the Rooney's and be out of dodge by sundown.

 

Oddly I saw Tomlin pat him on the helmet as if to say " shucks JJ you dropped yet another ball. It's ok kid we will get em next time" lol

 

Last seen he was being measured for iron shoes for a sunset ride down the Ohio

 

Not to hijack the thread, but herein lies the problem with MT - he's too much of a 'buddy' to his players. A real coach gives him a glare and shows him the door, nothing else.

I have zero problem getting rid of him zero. However if there is money involved then I say deactivate him or do whatever you have to to avoid even minimal dead money.

 

Jones dead money won't have much of a impact on the team, get rid of that washed up player.

 

That may be true but they are going to need every penny when it comes time to resign Brown as well as some of the rest. I'd rather not even have Jones's dead money if avoidable

The Steelers will cut him this week and the ravens will sign him and they will make sure he has a kickoff return for a touchdown in week 15 to beat us to knock us out of the playoffs
