I'd really be pissed if the Steelers had to share the house with a band without balls. They should have scheduled Styx (yes still touring) and featured renegade live!!

Sorry, just my opinion. Those types of things are better left for special/important/pivotal moments rather than every single game.

I mean maybe Styx wouldn't be such a bad idea if we were in the Super Bowl. If you think about it it would make perfect sense. Maybe Tomlin is a robot and that's why he's always saying the same things. I bet in his next presser he yells in to the mic "I'm Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy!" LOL!

Didnt they say that Coldplay was representing the present like they have multiple performers to highlight the 50 years celebration?

What the is this? NFL makes billions and they get a performance like this?
Most people wouldn't even recognize the band.

Yep! My wife and I saw them on the current tour in August, and it was as good a Van Halen show as I've been to (this was my 4th).

Coldplay must have some sort of connection to the bay area?
Why not Jimmy Buffett? He and Cromartie could do a duet of "Why don't we get drunk and screw?"
