I will be there as well! I have a good friend with season tickets who was willing to sell them to me at face value or else there's no way I could swing it. I'm a bit nervous about being surrounded by these d-bags, especially with my girlfriend, but I'm sure we can handle it.

We're probably going to watch the morning games at Fado on 1st ave and walk down to the stadium after.

I had no idea the Seattle fans were such A-holes. Are we talking Ravens, Eagles and Raiders bad?

Hoping West Coast Steelers fans can but a dent into the "12th man" But this is one of the games I was actually expecting to be an away game.

We are 5th against the run and the Oline for the seahawks suck. Our pass rush is very good at this time of year. We are coming back healthy as week 1. Contain Wilson and keep him off his game with our pass rush and I think we got this.

Steelers fan living in Seattle...I have not seen their fans to be hostile. my wife is a Raider's fan and we've gone to some Raiders/Hawks games. never an issue that I've seen.

true they will never get over that SB loss but hostile to other fans - I don't believe so.

I've never attended a game here in Seattle but what I hear is that they ain't that bad but either way we travel good around the states so I'm sure will have a good crowd.

I don't begrudge the thread over there (though I'm not sure why they're watching us... bizarre).

I don't let go of SBXXX. I still wonder what might have happened in '76. Or if David Johnson was remotely capable in SB43, or if Pouncey was in and not Legursky, etc. etc. Fandom is about "what ifs".

None of them are about ref's decisions, of course, but just about every single one of us has kicked off about referee decisions in at least one regular season game around here.

So I'm not surprised that they're still pissed about it. It was a pretty awful game with one or two bright spots, and ultimately that's what leads to the focus on the refereeing decisions. Plus, they're watching their own team, so they probably didn't see how the refs tried to screw us out of the Indy game. It doesn't matter how many times we go over it, and break down each call, and argue for its rightness or wrongness - if you've lost in the biggest game of the season, you aren't going to let that go.

Dude their fans in the Pacific northwest are absolute crybabies. My buddy's brother has season tix to them and they whine about everything.

I doubt Steelers fans will take over the stadium in Seattle like they do in many other cities, I'm sure the terrible towel will be represented though.

    Yes.

    Good news - Bad News

Good news first: I think I read somewhere today TS [the Steelers] did win 1 game there of the 7 played there.

Just kidding. But actually TS have really dominated them since the win in the SB.

Lynch was there the last time TS [the Steelers] played them in 2011. Since the Super Bowl win 21-10 for the 2005 season TS have won both games in extremely convincing fashion. The results from sportsbettingstats.com's database.

    09/18/2011 PIT 24 SEA 0
    10/07/2007 PIT 21 SEA 0
    02/05/2006 PIT 21 SEA 10

Not that I did not love every second of it but it was hard to believe how dominating and one sided the games were. I figured TS had the incessant and demented complaining over the SB in the backs of their minds and played extra tough. Of course, the last 2 games were here and apparently TS were considered the home team in the SB game in Detroit.

I went to a preseason game in Seattle a few years back and the crowd noise is legit. Extremely loud, I hope Ben and the offense have their signals down pat. As for the fans, we didn't get anything more than bad looks. But the people in general were not very friendly. That was everywhere too, fish market, national forest areas, etc.

I'm getting really ticked off now. I'm tired of All the media,All the odds, and the seabirds talking trash about All the problems the steelers have. I need for peezy and Butler to have the Defense playing old skool physical and disciplined.
And Ben and the offense working down field with precision. Let's show the seabirds, the media, and the NFL that we are a top caliber and better team then we are getting credit for

I'm not feeling good about this game at all. Hope I'm wrong, but I think the final outcome is not going to be good.

I have a golf buddy that is a seachicken fan and when he talks about the ref's "helping" us I always say, yep the refs blocked your defense on fast willies SUPERBOWL RECORD td run or the ref's must have tripped one of your guys up when ward was wide open for a td on the trick play. That usually shuts him up but when they won their SB he came up to me and said I am now over our SB.

Whatever it is what it is and when you look at it the Seachickens have been losers their whole time either in the AFC or NFC. Yeah they had SOME great players but by far they were always the "lovable losers" at least to me. Just in the last 5-7 years have they been good, real good but that streak is coming to an end as all the players are now off their rookie contracts and are either leaving or putting them in cap hell.

All I know is every time we play them I just want to kick their ass so they don't have anything to say. We beat them it just shuts them up, especially in their house! This time however it is gonna take a little more, Ben is still hurting and not as mobile. The injuries have piles up, 2/5th's of the line is hurt and no Bell. We have our work cut out for us but like I said before their middle was pretty open last week and Miller and James need to be big time tomorrow. On the defensive side of the ball just keep Wilson in the pocket and don't let him take off. Their wr's aren't that good and I feel if we don't give a 10 yrd cushion our D can handle this.

    Keys to the game:

Hit our TE's early and often

Don't try to go deep a lot 5 yrd slants to AB and keep BB upright

If Shazier is healthy make him Wilson's shadow

Jam WR's at the line so Wilson has to go to reads 2-3-4......bam sacked!!!!!!

There have been several comments about their WR's. Maybe they don't have the depth TS [the Steelers] do, but that Baldwin looks pretty good to me whenever I see them. He was a little banged up early in the week, but is ok and will probably play.

Follow NY STEELERFAN's gameplan and slow down this guy and that other RB on D and TS just might win this game. I suppose they better keep an eye on that TE they got also.

---Never easy on the road but they have a shot. They drew Walt Anderson's crew for the game. Ehh! Could be better but he does seem to give the visiting teams a fair shot.

This week, Gene Steratore’s crew will be resting up at home.
